Look up the new parent company of this product. You will come the same conclusion I did. You don’t want to be anywhere near this outfit. Newer, ODB ports have way too much data being collected beyond just engine diagnostics. This company will harvest terabytes of information and at some point, sell it off in total to a third-party as they quietly cease business. Their income stream is not from selling the ODB scanner. It’s in the harvest of your information. Insurance companies are vacuuming up this data!!! Wait till your insurance rates go up because of the telemetry data this thing collected and they sold out the back door. Think about it ODB scanners are a saturated market. There is no money in producing one. Your purchase cost does not pay for their back end support but your information does.

I use the BlueDriver OBD2 scan tool regularly to check my vehicle’s overall health, and it has proven to be extremely useful. It allows me to see trouble codes that haven’t yet triggered a warning light or check engine light, which helps catch issues early before they become bigger problems.

With BlueDriver, I’ve been able to diagnose and resolve minor issues on my own, and for more serious problems, it gives me clear, detailed information that I can share with my mechanic. This has made communication much easier and helps the mechanic get a head start on diagnosing and fixing the issue.

The app is easy to use, informative, and feels well thought out. It’s a great tool for anyone who wants to be more informed about their vehicle, whether you’re a DIYer or someone who just wants to walk into the shop better prepared. Highly recommended.

After following all the “Set-Up” steps to which there are any number of variations it simply won’t “connect.” in “Settings - Bluetooth” it says it’s connected but it’s really not.

It worked just fine on our TDI but doesn’t get on with the Subaru 
PS: There should be zero and neg. Star ratings.
*Update: Attempted eight times on our 2009 Honda CRV to get this thing “Paired” and “Connected” it won’t pair but says it’s connected
No on line support!
