Bluetooth Inspector Reviews
Promising
App looks very promising but it’s limited.
It would be great to have access to low level information on discovery and capabilities of the bluetooth device.
Adding aliases for long uuid numbers also would be helpful, especially that it often doesn’t fit single line in the application interface.
Application also uses own way of organizing the characteristics for display, not following alphabetical or definition order. Could be useful to change order how app displays long list of characteristics.
I would buy the editor for values if it would help to write complex hex codes. An example I want to write one characteristic with little endian float value. And other characteristic with unsigned integer in big endian. If I should pay for writing a value, app should offer some additional value to it.
In the end if app could remember uuid and display selected by user between different devices and sessions in application would be very handy. I am looking forward to use the app.

C’est une application dangereuse car elle se connecte indépendamment de notre volonté à d’autres périphériques Bluetooth.
Trop dangereuse cette application.
Nice tool but
I don't know why it's not possible to read the data as a string or a number (like the writing method) it would be really nice to have it! Otherwise this app is really good and well polished, well done!
Needs tp be update
Constant crashing on Sequoia, no updates in a year, is this a dead app?
Very Useful | Android when?
Love the app, hope it stays the same, and same for the one time payment. But I would like the app to also be available on Android which can even make the app more powerful and useful.
Something is wrong
I know I can’t expect much on iPhone side, but I do expect it to be functional in some way. I have purchased the pro version, but it doesn’t seem to have improved things. It might just be the area that I live in. I hit scan, and I get about 80-100 devices listed as Unknown in an unknown area around me. Even interrogating everything, does not update the screen, but I get requests from all my neighbors iPhones and iPads to connect to my phone. What it does not do is find or connect to my Bluetooth speaker sitting 5 feet away. This is not useful. It seems that I don’t have all of the controls or the ability to go further into the app. Or access to support. The map would be useful if I could zoom in closer than a 1000 square feet so all I see is my location buried under a cluster of unknown devices. I don’t know what it would look like on other devices but if this is it for the iPhone then I am just not impressed. Sorry, but I really did want it to succeed because I need the information it promised and all I got was glitch.
Good for pro or newby
Awesome app high recommend!
...
Malicious background activity. Making daily attempts to scan and interrogate bt devices at 7pm cst, every day if my phone is asleep at that time (with app fully closed, with global bluetooth setting off, and bypassing native privacy log). Not a good sign.
Example on shortcut to write character value
Can you put a screen shot to show how to use shortcut to automatically write character values ?
