## BM Africa Description
Counterfeiting in Africa is quite rampant and 90% of goods are either already counterfeited or under the risk of being counterfeited. The local dailies have been abuzz with the counterfeiting problem.

For both the manufacturer and the consumer to be on the safe side, they need to know which goods are counterfeited so as to avoid them Graphic Security Systems Corporation (GSSC) has developed an anti-counterfeiting technology, SI®, to help manufacturers solve the problem of counterfeiting of their products. SI® is here to protect the consumers from unsafe products and manufacturers against unfair competition and loss for revenue.

Each scan displays a clear “Authentic” or “Counterfeit” result.

The app is designed to correct for lighting conditions, shaky hands, poor scanning angles and many other variables. Works with or without an Internet connection and can be linked to any database.

How To Use the App?

* Place the product to be scanned on a solid surface in a well-lit area
* Simply scan the label while pointing it squarely
* Line up the guides on the screen with the product label until the code is scanned

The result of the scan will be displayed as “authentic” or “counterfeit”.
