## Bnft Description
NOTE: Currently the app is only available for North Carolina WIC, Illinois WIC and MT SNAP.

Bnft has everything you need to manage your EBT benefits securely and simply. As a SNAP and/or WIC cardholder who has Bnft you can:
•        Instantly get access to your real-time available balance
•        View up to a year of transaction history
•        Update your card status
•        Order a replacement card
•        Select or change your PIN
•        Locate a store

Bnft allows you to securely manage your benefits at the touch of a button. Easily register with your account information. If you have already registered to mybnft.com then you are all set and ready to go. Simply use your existing username and password to sign in.

REAL-TIME, AVAILABLE BALANCE
You will have access to check your benefit balance. Bnft will also send you notifications when a deposit is posted to your account and when you are expected to receive your next deposit.

CARD AND PIN UPDATES
Is your card lost, stolen, or damaged? Bnft has you covered as you can update your card status and order a new replacement card all within the app.

SCAN IT!
For WIC cardholders, Bnft allows you to scan a food item to determine not only is the item a WIC approved product, it will tell you if you have benefits to purchase the product. 

FEATURE PRODUCTS
As a WIC cardholder you will have access to view feature products at stores within your location based on your current benefits.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
Bnft will send notifications for card status changes, deposit notifications, expected deposit dates, low balance or expiring benefits, and when your PIN is locked due to consecutive incorrect attempts.

### *---- "Love Wic, this app needs major tune ups."
As much as I do appreciate this app for letting us know what benefits are remaining on the card it is beyond frustrating that I have to not only log in multiple times during a shopping trip but also have to get a text message verification. It’s nice to use on small trips to see what I need quickly but if I am ever at a new store or have to use the scan part of the app I have to log in sometimes up to three times. I was once in a store and logged in to check to see if a certain box of cereal could be purchased and by the time I made it to the canned fruit aisle it had logged me out. I don’t take long to shop and you would think if someone just used the app within 10 minutes with their phone you are still using the app. This app is more secure than my bank app.

Timeout extremely fast. God forbid you have to change your number. They say call customer service but there isn’t an option to talk to a live agent or actually help change your number. Now I’m locked out of the app with no knowledge of what I have unless I call my card.

The App Store description says this app is available for North Carolina WIC users, however after downloading the app and entering my card details I got a pop up saying the app was unavailable.

Now I can’t login to my account because I don’t have access the previous phone number connected and there is not an email or phone number to contact them to get it changed . 0 Stars all together

### *---- "Needs to be updated desperately"
I have to long in MULTIPLE times whenever I’m scanning stuff if my phone blackouts. It takes forever to login. It’ll tell me something is approved when it’s not. It doesn’t always work when you do scan stuff. The app is in DESPERATE NEED OF AN UPDATE. It’s harder to shop because of these issues.

The app is okay for checking what you have available, but the deliver has clearly never been grocery shopping.  It takes time to go from aisle to aisle.  Every time I set the phone down, the app times out and I have to sign in again.  Also, it would be great if when I clicked on an item, it gave me the list of options available to me.  It would be work to do, but so much easier.  Every time I go to pull up the list, the app times out!  So frustrating.  But the scanner is nice!

I live in Illinois and I can never get the phone verification. My number is there but I never get the code. I used the app while my baby was an infant now as a toddler I haven’t been able to use the app in 2 years. I hate the code never actually comes to my phone
