BOI BIZ Pay Application will be convenient mode for our merchants/customers to accept payments from their end customers Full Description Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a system that powers bank accounts into a single mobile application, merging several banking features, seamless fund routing & merchant payments under one umbrella. In increasing the digital transactions, the UPI plays a major role as it is the most commonly used mode of digital payment by the customers in India. UPI based payment has gained popularities and continues to be preferred mode of payment. With growing demand of UPI QR Codes, bank has already introduced BHIM BOI UPI QR Kits for all the eligible merchants. This UPI QR Code is static. As of now, Bank is not having any UPI based merchant application to accept merchant payments through UPI. To cater the requirement of our merchants to accept payments through UPI using static and dynamic QR Codes, we are launching an application-based BOI BIZ Pay Application/Solution. BOI BIZ Pay Application will be convenient mode for our merchants/customers to accept payments from their end customers What are the requirements for using BOI BIZ Pay App? You should have following: • An iOS phone with internet services • An operative Bank of India Account. • The mobile number being registered with BOI BIZ Pay must be linked to the BOI Account. How do I register in the BOI BIZ Pay App? • Tap Send SMS to verify your mobile number. An SMS will be sent from your mobile number for verification. The SMS should be sent from the mobile number registered with the bank accounts. • After your mobile number is verified, the new registration screen is displayed. Now enter the Login Pin. • After successfully login create your profile. Fill all the required details and create the VPA. Features of BOI BIZ Pay: Below are the features provided in the application to the merchants: • User friendly User Interface (UI) and robust application for accepting transactions through UPI. • Application home screen contains basic merchant information including account balance. • Merchant can view his profile along with the current application status. • Static and Dynamic QR generation along with the sharing facility of QR code using multiple channels. • In app calculator which helps merchants to calculate transaction amount and further generate QR for the particular transactions. • Merchant can view transaction history for the period of at least 90 days and generate the transaction report in the local device as well. • At present application shall be available in English only. • If the merchant on-boarded himself as P2M merchant via application, the approval will be done at the branch level.
