Bolt Food

Used this to get food when passing through Limassol. Good selection of food / restaurants. But… 1. Weird queuing system where the restaurant makes your food and only then do they look to find a courier so it is all by definition colder / slower. It didn’t fill me with confidence and some other reviews highlight longer delays than I had 2. Trying to delete account. This should be simple. I am leaving Cyprus, just delete it. But I get endless automated notes asking me to do ever more cryptic things. Last one referred me to some email that never arrived. Really annoying. You don’t have the right to my business so just delete it. Really annoyed me this

Food took 2 hours, before the restaurant driver told me to cancel it. I ordered something else. Bolt won’t let you cancel, so then both meals arrived and I had to pay for both. Speaking to their customer service team is like an army of bots with no ability to respond to the actual situation, just quoting generic policy. Disappointing

The app is lagging, most of the times it doesn't work, doesn't have great selection of places and customer support is basically in existent not to mention unprofessional

Support will take over half a day to reply only to do it’s best to not understand what is being told to them

They’ve had so many issues with my account where a restaurant makes my meal and then it takes over an hour to hook me up with a courier (when it finally matched it picked a courier on the other side of the city for a restaurant 2 minutes from me! During this time they processed 20 normal orders for other customers without this issue); but the worst of it is that the customer service never gets back to you. I’ve been waiting for over 2 hours since I ordered and both the restaurant and I have been trying to speak to bolt because they aren’t connecting us to a rider and no one will get back to us or help us. The restaurant have had to send their own rider in the end, what the hell is the bolt comission for then? Swapping to Uber eats because even though it’s more expensive you actually get your food and aren’t treated like a joke.

Getting worse and worse every day. ZERO staff. ZERO professionalism ZERO customer care

Yesterday I ordered for food till date I haven’t received my order I’ve called the restaurant they said they’ve prepared my order and it has been picked up but the driver isn’t picking my calls and the bolt food customer service isn’t responding either

Small order fees, which appear in the very last momens of your order just make you stop using this app and switch to Wolt. At least they are transparent
