Experienced twice a wait time of over 40 minutes for a ride barely 5-10 minutes away, driver didn’t attend to in app texts nor calls, never received any customer support or notification from my issue escalation as well, definitely not ready for the local market yet, very disappointing service!

Drivers are very rude, completely disregard any code of conduct, and support does not respond at all.
Better than Grab as it offers a discounted rate than any other app in Thailand.
I used this bolt twice and both experienced was worst. First time the driver took me to different location. Second time I specify the location the moment I sat in the car. Driver was like ok ok and again he took to me different location. 😠 I regret using this app.
I booked twice in Dubai and in both cases money was deducted but drivers never came and they didn’t reply to my messages. Support is useless as you talk to robot only and noway to talk to any human to ask about the refund . I will never use Bolt in UAE again.
I book taxis atleast twice a day for long distances, got sick of Careem and hala’s extremely bad service and no regard for customer experience or complaints. But had no other option in UAE. Bolt is SO AWESOME, the app is great, rides are better than expected and drivers so professional! Love it.
I have never reviewed anything online because I simply don’t care enough to but I genuinely have to warn everyone that there is nothing worse in this life than using Bolt in the UAE. There has been a problem on every single ride I’ve had with them. The maps are all messed up and it causes so many problems when the driver needs to pick you up. I had an accident one time and had to walk to my destination and yet I didn’t get a refund for that trip or follow up for that complaint. I thought I was getting bad drivers but it’s honestly not them. The problem is with Bolt UAE itself. I don’t know if it’s a universal experience but I would say as long as you’re in the UAE, stick to Careem or Uber.
