Used to be easily as good as Uber. Now it’s way longer wait times, crazy prices, constant surges, drivers that make you wait 10 minutes just to cancel on you, It’s a huge mess. To anyone using this app bare in mind a 2 minute wait means 30
Why do I have to pay for cancel fee? Do you know certain drivers are using this as a loophole to not pick you up, if he hits cancel he’ll still get the cancel fee. And I been using this app for years now, no discount, no better service.

Horrible service regularly waiting forever to get a ride, drivers are rude and cancel for no reason
I have used Bolt for a long long time now. Lately they either have no drivers with common sense or it’s the systems they use. I live at a number in the street which we all no goes eg 1-3-5-7 then other side of rd is 2-4-6-8 Well when I know my taxi is arriving I stand outside under my porch if it’s raining but otherwise bottom of the drive. No taxi turns up but yet I get charged £4 cancellation fee. It’s happened a couple of times now where I know I have nt had a driver pull up at my house. Another driver I did have took me to a completely different area wrong route. I am unhappy so I’ve decided to go via another company. Sad to leave but I’m sick of the service now
Honestly, the worst service from a cab company ever. I had a single box that didn’t fit in the car’s TINYYYY boot, so I suggested keeping it on my lap. (It was oddly shaped, maybe 1KG, but about 1.3m long) Driver refused to put the seat down, refused that I keep it on my lap, instead insisted that I cancel the trip and rebook an XL. Bolt charged me a cancellation fee after calling support to try sort it out. The driver was so messy and angry, screaming at me in the street. Worst experience in a long time. 0/10 and never again.
Used to be great, clear pricing, good deals. Recently though it’s a totally pointless app, no drivers will pick you up unless you pay to upgrade your rate, and drivers can cancel even when they’re outside your door?! Getting through 3/4 allocated drivers that arrive at your door and then cancel. Stick with Uber and FreeNow.
Excellent safe service
First course cancelled. Second course he didn’t move during 10 min and then take another direction (certainly expecting my cancellation). I really hope you will find a solution to this issue because they make your brand not reliable. I come back from abroad they don’t behave like this. I already erase Uber, you are the next one if the situation do not improve. No customer no driver. They are forgetting it. The support is always amazing, cancel and refund the booking promptly but we agree this is not the goal.
I have tried to use Bolt Pet a bunch of times. The driver always says they don’t take pets despite it being booked as such. They have no idea so we end up in a stand-off as to who will cancel. Please fix it!!
