Bolt: Request a Ride

Awful awful app/service, save yourself the hassle,

First used bolt when travelling to Prague. So easy to use and great hassle free travelling around the city.

I tried this morning to get a cab but no one wanted to pick me up. The app then says if you up The amount you’ve got a better chance….well if the app said that price in the first place I would of booked it. Why give a price and then act like it’s your fault because it’s not enough?? Then I had a driver accept and go completely the opposite way??? Obviously to get me to cancel. Another one accepted then cancelled 2 mins before picking me up after coming to me for 7 mins!!! Thanks for making me late for my medical appointment. My advice is use local cabs because all these apps do is mess you about.

Do not use this service, they have aggressive drivers who make you feel very unsafe and harass their customers. The service do not do anything about these issues, such as offer refunds ‘as the driver dropped me off at the correct location’ and there is very little support given.

Bump prices and can’t even find a driver get back on Uber at this point

I find bolt useless and a waste of money every time I book a ride I’m waiting up for an hour for a driver to accept my ride and then they cancel my ride every time and I’ve only managed to use bolt once for one ride and can’t get another ride as the drivers keep cancelling my ride

I requested a ride, waited over 10 minutes but driver wouldn’t accept our journey (it’s literally their job). and got charged for it, so I cancelled it and requested a new ride, waited another 10 minutes for same thing to happen, got charged again, Bolt was offering to charge me more if i wanted the ride faster?! they’re just trying to get more money off of me, so I cancelled that ride also since nobody wanted to help. I messaged support about this as it’s not acceptable, I had to wait 3 hours for somebody to get in touch just for them to tell me that it’s my fault, according to them I only had to wait 9 seconds but apparently i’m the one that cancelled it so nobody showed up, just giving me a bunch of lies, then said i have to wait 14 business days for my refund, absolutely a joke, paid twice and got NOTHING out of it!

price can be decent but the drivers are terrible most of them they cancel all the time make you late

I keep getting negative because of this bolt balance when I pay things in full I’m just going to stick to Uber
