BookMyShow is hands down one of the most useless, infuriating apps I’ve ever dealt with. For Sri Lankan users, it’s a complete joke. You can’t remove your saved card, can’t delete your account, and when you contact customer service, they reply like robots who don’t even read what you’ve written. They just throw random instructions that don’t exist in the app, wasting your time and patience. It’s beyond frustrating & it’s pure negligence. How can a company hold your personal details hostage like that and call it customer service? I’m done. I want my account deleted, my card gone, and I will never use this app again. Absolute garbage service. Fix your system before calling yourself a global platform. -- Lee94z, 2025-10-30 ### *---- "Cannot book" Been trying to book for many days now. Getting error msg. Informed the support on facebook messenger, still no solution. -- Afzal777, 2025-09-04 ### *---- "Refund" I booked 2 tickets for Ilayaraja concert on 1st Oct 23, for the show to be held on 27Jan 24. Cost LKR 30,000. Organizers cancelled the show. I am writing to this site from early March 24 for refund. Very poor response. Still no news about refund irrespective of multiple attempts with this site. Very disappointing service. I advise people not to use this site to book any show, as no contact number, customer service or service almost non existent. -- Sellapraba, 2024-03-19 ### *---- "This app no longer works" Tried to purchase tickets via this app. Entered the OTP as well. But the purchase was not made. This app no longer works and the hotline does not work. 0 stars. -- Priyan87, 2023-10-19 ### *---- "Bad booking experience Jaffna Leo movie" Bad booking experience Jaffna Leo movie tickets sold on black . BookMyShow did not get any one show of Jaffna theatre. -- LK Apple Review, 2023-10-19 ### *---- "Login Error" When I try to log into the app, there is an error on the number verification display saying, "Something went wrong, please try again." -- Bhashu Nk, 2023-07-26 ### *---- "Not working at all" Can’t even open the app. -- Coolamila123, 2022-06-22 ### *---- "Not working at all" It’s was really good before pandemic and now it’s completely not working even app doesn’t open at all. -- Faja1, 2022-03-13 ### **--- "App crashes constantly" App keeps crashing constantly so makes it very unreliable. Theres no available updates, no regular bug fixes either. Even though booking through the app is easy, it only allows us to do in certain times so might as well switch to a better reliable app. -- qwert_mnbv, 2022-01-26 [View all BookMyShow Lanka Entertainment reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to BookMyShow Lanka Entertainment - [SooriyanFM Mobile](https://apptail.io/app/sooriyanfm-mobile-ZVlc/sri-lanka) - [Scope Cinemas - Buy Tickets](https://apptail.io/app/scope-cinemas-buy-tickets-brue/sri-lanka) - [THINA](https://apptail.io/app/thina-rOyf/sri-lanka) - [Derana Plus](https://apptail.io/app/derana-plus-kkzf/sri-lanka) - [Dialog Play](https://apptail.io/app/dialog-play-ynBj/sri-lanka) - [Miss World (MW)](https://apptail.io/app/miss-world-mw-GBWp/sri-lanka) - [Roopa Hala](https://apptail.io/app/roopa-hala-unRq/sri-lanka) - [PEO MOBILE](https://apptail.io/app/peo-mobile-Zczu/sri-lanka) - [DLB Sweep](https://apptail.io/app/dlb-sweep-OjRu/sri-lanka) - [Sandbrix](https://apptail.io/app/sandbrix-NfqA/sri-lanka) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
