At first, I found the app really good alternative to listen to audiobooks. However, It is described as a free app, but it soon starts popping up requests to begin a subscription. The support team offered no help to cancel this when I inadvertently pressed to accept. There is no button within the App to review or cancel the paid subscription. I am going to recommend that you avoid downloading this app. I am hoping Apple will be able to resolve my complaint.

It’s very quick use when you haven’t got time to sync Apple Books. Being able to pull books from any cloud storage via the files app makes it simple and flexible. It’s compatible with CarPlay which is a must for me.

Genuinly the best app I have downloaded in a long, long time - perhaps even the best. Does exactly what it says on the tin, but in the most helpful way, and I have increased my audiobook consumption 10 fold since using it. It feels like it’s been designed by someone who would use this app (as I’m sure it probably has been), meaning every feature I could think it of wanting, it already has. It’s extriemly Apple Coded, and has made listening to audiobooks on my phone a dream, after trying Apple Music, Spotify and VHX, this is by far the quickest and smoothest way to get audiobooks into your phone, as well as the smoothest as the playback features are designed for audiobooks (30s forward, back, play from current position, etc) rather than music playback. There are no catches to this app, it’s free to use and designed with the user in mind. Thank you, creators!

I think I have tried them all and can confidently say this is the best app out there for playing long form audio files. It reliably keeps your place without needing to bookmark, unlike many other apps which randomly take you back to the start. Easy to use and has all the key controls you would expect and need including speed control and adjustable skip up/back button. First class. Well done to the developers.
