Read its dictionary definition and return to your book. One purchase includes all available dictionaries and translation packs. No subscription or in-app purchases. Optional language downloads are included. Hold the centre ring over a word for about a second. The word is highlighted and its definition opens. Swipe the panel away to continue reading. Choose your book language English definitions are included. Other book dictionaries are optional downloads. Dictionary coverage varies by word and language; not every word or inflected form is available. Kurdish (Kurmanji) — Kurdî (Kurmancî) Add the Kurmanji dictionary for Latin-script Kurdish books, or choose an optional English → Kurmanji word translation pack for English books. A Kurmanji interface is also available. These resources cover Northern Kurdish; they do not include Sorani. Meanings and equivalents come from Wiktionary. Camera recognition can miss accents in difficult text. Translations for English books Choose a separate optional translation pack to display equivalents beside English definitions. These are word translations, and availability varies. Books in other languages show dictionary definitions. Offline after setup An internet connection is needed to load the language catalog and download a selected dictionary or translation pack. Installed resources work offline. No account needed. Privacy Camera frames and recognized words stay on your iPhone. No analytics or tracking. Downloading resources contacts the content host, which receives connection details such as your IP address.
