## Boom Bap Hero Description
What up doe. Get in the pocket. Boom Bap Hero is a finger drumming rhythm game built for MIDI pad controllers — inspired by the off-kilter swing of J Dilla, the masked villain beats of MF DOOM, and the Detroit tradition of making drums knock harder than anything else in the mix.

Plug in your controller via the Lightning or USB-C Camera Adapter, map your pads with MIDI Learn, and play along to real drum patterns spanning boom bap, hip-hop, trap, G-funk, neo soul, house, funk, and disco. No controller? No problem — play with touchscreen.

FEATURES

▸ Built-in drum sounds — kick, snare, hi-hats, and clap ready to go
▸ Sound Kit customization — swap individual sounds with your own samples
▸ MIDI Learn — auto-map any 5 pads from any MIDI controller (EP-133 KO-II, MPC, Maschine, Launchpad, and more)
▸ 10 built-in songs across multiple genres
▸ Progressive difficulty — patterns teach proper two-hand finger drumming technique
▸ Velocity-sensitive playback — hit harder for louder sounds

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Whether you're a beginner chopping your first beat or a seasoned producer warming up before a session, Boom Bap Hero gives you a fun, structured way to build the kind of muscle memory that made Dilla's MPC work legendary. Train your hands. Find the pocket. Make the drums talk.

SUPPORTED CONTROLLERS

Works with any class-compliant USB MIDI controller via Camera Adapter:
▸ Teenage Engineering EP-133 KO-II
▸ Akai MPC / MPD series
▸ Native Instruments Maschine
▸ Novation Launchpad
▸ Arturia MiniLab / BeatStep
▸ And many more

HOW TO PLAY

Notes scroll down the screen — tap your pad (or the screen) when they reach the hit zone. Nail the timing to build combos and rack up points. Each song teaches real drumming patterns you can take to your own productions. All caps when you spell the man's name.
