Boomerang Parental Control helps you guide your kids toward healthier digital habits—without the constant power struggles. Whether you're managing bedtimes, limiting social media, or just wanting to know your child got to school safely, Boomerang Parental Control gives you flexible tools that work for your family. WHAT YOU CAN DO ON iPHONE & iPAD - Child Mode -------------------------------------------------- ▶ Hide distracting apps automatically at bedtime or homework time ▶ Pause all apps instantly when it's time to unplug) ▶ Keep tabs on your child's location throughout the day ▶ See what websites they're visiting with our SPIN Safe Browser ▶ Stay connected with Family Messenger—message your kids anytime MANAGE FROM YOUR PHONE - Parent Mode (iOS or A****** devices) -------------------------------------------------- Control all your kids' devices from one app—yes, even those A****** smartphones. For iOS child devices: ▶ Set custom screen time schedules for each day of the week ▶ Allow or block apps based on age ratings ▶ Chat with your family through our messenger For A****** child devices, you get even more: ▶ Limit individual apps (like TikTok or Instagram) to 15 minutes per day ▶ Let educational apps work anytime, even during "locked" hours ▶ Get alerts when new apps are installed—approve or block them ▶ Review call logs and text messages to spot concerning patterns ▶ Block calls from unknown numbers (goodbye, spam!) ▶ Get notified if inappropriate words appear in texts ▶ See YouTube watch history and searches (because kids want the real YouTube, not YouTube Kids) WHY PARENTS LOVE BOOMERANG -------------------------------------------------- We believe parental controls should open conversations, not just lock things down. It does this with the Spin Safe browser which is working well for my 12 year old. Boomerang keeps a history of all sites visited EVEN IF my daughter deletes her history. Spin Safe also has the ability to block categories of web content as well as specific sites. It’s the perfect solution to give her the freedom to use the internet but I can make sure she is staying safe. THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS APP. -- Applesauce9999, 2026-04-19 ### **--- "No improvements for years" It needs a refresh and you can’t update every setting in the mobile app. You have to sign on to the boomerang site with a web browser to adjust many key settings. Guys, seriously, get with it and start improving the function and UI. Don’t rest on your laurels. There’s plenty of competition out there. -- Comateux, 2026-02-21 ### *---- "This is the worst app on all app stores." Please take this app down. This has basically ruined my life back in 2022 or 2021 because my entire life was tiktok. that was the only thing keeping me entertained. And this applies for most children who are exposed to screens at a young age. You are not helping kids. You are helping them develop hate. -- ———Charlie!———-, 2026-01-28 ### **--- "Frustrating" This app has the potential to be great, but is instead quite frustrating. The Accessibility option always disables on my son’s Android Galaxy rendering the parental controls disabled and not functioning. There is no customer service line to call. Instead you have to email and wait for a response. I like the design of this app, but not the functionality. -- heatherc0777, 2025-09-17 ### *---- "Used to be great." Now it’s good at best. I just renewed it for one more year against my better judgement after problems last year and now their whole website is down to the point you can even look at the dashboard for your account. It did this one other time and they don’t even notice. -- momtocckcj, 2025-06-14 ### *---- "Stupidest App Ever!" I haven’t been able to uninstall the app from my now adult son’s tablet for 2 YEARS!! It won’t recognize my password AND the trial ended so where’s the 500.00 I paid for a tablet I haven’t been able to use for 2 YEARS!! -- Dm1914, 2025-04-04 ### *---- "Always glitching" The app glitches it messed up my phone I had to get a new one. I don’t recommend I had the app for 2 year and it would glitch, normally I was able to fix it but this last time it messed up the phone and I couldn’t do anything about it. I reached out to customer support but no one ever got back to me so for that I don’t recommend this app -- Melina2025, 2025-02-08 ### **--- "No Disclosure" Thanks for having me take 30 minutes to set everything up, only to find out it is just for a fourteen day trial. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time. I am now deleting it on day one of my trial. -- RobertReview, 2025-02-03 ### ****- "New phone won’t transfer" I had given Boomerang one star because it would not let me keep my license for a new phone. It did finally get fixed and the Boomerang team asked me to contact them to get it fixed. I don’t need to now. While looking for a new AP, I realized there were some free ones that are too easy for my 13 year old to get around, and others that are much more expensive. Boomerang does what I need at a good price. I didn’t give 5 stars because of the time it took to get the new phone back on my account. Had I bought a new service, I may have had to go through the same problem. -- zidatc, 2024-10-29 ### ***** "Kids experience more freedom when they are safe" Safety is our highest concern with our family phones. We delayed in buying phones until we found Boomerang. We immediately found peace of mind in its features, the text messaging and calling tools helps us to keep out unwanted solicitation and strangers. Thanks to boomerang our kids can feel the freedom to communicate and stay in the loop of friends and family without the risks. -- Heyhomeschooler, 2024-09-19 [View all Boomerang reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Boomerang In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | 1 Device Annual License | $19.99 | | 1 Family Pack License | $39.99 | | Family Pack Upgrade License | $19.99 | | 1 Family Pack Renewal | $39.99 | | 1 Annual Device Renewal | $19.99 | ## Boomerang Discovered Keywords -
