Equalizer is not enough otherwise great app

Great products. Bad software. That’s Bose.

This is probably the best working Bose app to date. In the past they were always terrible. The new app is a nice improvement but they could easily add more software-based features and tricks like Sony does. Give us more EQ control, build an iOS widget, have more custom options for the buttons. It does not need to be game changing just try to experiment. Update in Oct 2022: Bose updates it’s app (only to add new products) but has rarely updated the products software or firmware or added additional features. Compared to Sony, Sonos and Apple, they need to step it up or lose market share.

No Apple Watch app :(

On the SoundTouch app I had the Apple Watch app, which was great! But I can’t understand why Bose decided to not offering it on a newer product like the SoundBar 700.. Besides of that, the app is somehow not intuitive, it’s hard to add new users for example. I hope Bose will improve it somehow.

The app works fine. It dose the job alright but still, missing some features that are standard at any other app such as bass/treble control. Other than that - wonderful earbuds (new QC), along with great connectivity to the app.
