Ultra’s are amazing
This is by far the best portable speaker I’ve owned.
How come you build this new app but don’t make it compatible with older speakers from the SoundTouch generation. Currently have 6 perfectly working SoundTouch speakers and a new USELESS Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar which can’t play simultaneously with my other speakers. Fix this issue please.
I have a Bose 900 Soundbar paired with the 700 subwoofer. I also have the Bose portable smart speaker. I have had endless connectivity problems, the group function seldom works. I have had many conversations with Bose support but still the problems persist. The speakers often won’t show in the app, sometimes I have to unplug and force updates on both devices to be able to use them. This should be an easy seamless user experience, but is far from it. Very disappointing and frustrating.
The app is now pretty much useless. Always sync issue with music services. I have to log on and off every time to get it to work.
disgusted that apple and bose sell expensive devices and fail basic handoff. bose support in NZ useless. app support non existent. KNOWN issues sbe transparent - fails handoff, continuity if any of bose devices connected to mac. when trying to connect using iphone. bose/spoke handle this use case AUTOMATICALLY. such a tedious thing going over to mac .. disconnect.. jump back in bed and connect to iphone. ridiculously un-elegant
I wish the Bose products would just connect directly to devices without needing this app. The app help buttons just take you to your product’s sales page as if you want to buy another one of the same thing and provide no help at all.
My Bose 700 Soundbar has stopped interacting with the App since the last update. I have reset the unit, deleted and reinstalled the app with little success. Unfortunately, the app fails when it gets to the registration phase of the process even though it is confirmed to be connected to the WiFi. We now have a very expensive ornament on a tv cabinet. Disappointing.
Did absolutely nothing. I connected and it just left me on the same page. Nothing else 🤦♂️
