## Boston Sports Journal Reviews in United States

### **--- "Billing Broken"
Have to delete your account & create a new one with different email address if you have to change your payment method for any reason. Support team at BSJ not responsive. Apparently no longer offer veteran discounts. Patriots writing great. Otherwise meh. How can a legit website not be able to handle payment method changes?
-- Carl Carl 1, 2026-02-23

### *---- "App not working on any device. Revisited"
I think I know why.

The app works on my iPhone with the latest iOS, but not on my older iPhone or my ( older) iPad. Older products seem to be not fully supported with iOS upgrades.
This might be Planned Obsolescence as seen in other computer products.

I am not at all pleased.

For example, I recently learned that going forward Turbo Tax windows software requires windows 11 and will not work on anything previous. How can that be necessary except to squeeze money from the consumer?

Again, I am not pleased.
-- RealRadiosGlow, 2025-12-26

### **--- "App won’t open"
Are others now not able to open the app? I use either my iPhone or IPad. I see the website has been changed/upgraded and that’s great……but wats up w the App??
Anyone even monitoring the App??
-- notsoyahoo, 2025-12-13

### *---- "App won’t open for me either"
Fix it
-- Alan1055, 2025-12-12

### *---- "Decent content. App, not so much"
Even worse than the app not functioning that well are the commenters
-- Dirk LaJerk, 2023-12-17

### ***** "Great app"
Seamless update. Thanks to Greg and team for keeping everything humming
-- Andrew19900, 2021-06-10

### **--- "Invest in app development"
BSJ (Greg),

The writing is good. So much so that often I wish to comment on the article. I read your articles on my iPhone. I should be able to comment on them within the app ON MY iPHONE!! Stop telling people to use their desktop to comment. You look and sound like a chump. Actually invest some money in app development. This shouldn’t be an issue years after launch.
-- Sheamus80, 2021-03-24

### ***** "Well worth the price"
As a recent convert from The Athletic, I so appreciate BSJ’s style. They cover everything they need to cover in just the right amount of depth. The reporting and writing is high quality. And the app is clean and simple, everything it should be and nothing it shouldn’t. As much as I love The Athletic, it got too big for me—I often felt content overload. Reading BSJ is a far simpler experience. Highly recommend a download and a subscription!
-- nmhemming, 2020-08-15

### **--- "I love the content, but sick of not being able to post comments"
Whenever I try to post a comment it says “Some of field value is invalid”, even if I try to post a single letter or number. I have to select all, cut and then open a separate safari browser, find the article I was just reading, log on and paste my comment through that. It’s getting really annoying really quick. This should be a five star review, because the content is excellent, the layout is amazing but the ease of access (which is the point in having the app versus going on the website through a web browser) is bad.

Please fix this problem.
-- Meeeeepo, 2019-05-23

### ***-- "Good enough"
I can’t up or down vote comments, which is annoying. Rest of the app works well enough.
