Bound - Audiobook Player

Purchased this app strictly for the google drive access but they have since removed it after I paid for the app. Was good when they had Drive but now it’s not worth the money. Update: Web Upload is now broken as well and OneDrive doesn’t work

I often download free BBC programs and use this app to manage and play them back. Would recommend! Update: It’s been years and I still love this app. But please allow export of audio in the app. Please fix the “ stop playing if you lock the screen” bug that occasionally occurs.

Bound is great. The web uploaded feature makes it incredibly convenient to load up audio files. Playback controls and UI are clean, reliable and intuitive. No subscription nonsense. I highly recommend this app.

If you own your own audiobooks this app is truly 5-stars. Only wish i could recover my audiobooks from this app via files api or the hosting function similar to the upload.

I managed to get several audio books into my iPhone 14. I used iTunes once and drop box one time. Both were hard. Not user friendly and one audio book app found one and a completely different audiobook found the other. Neither found both. To make matters worse I couldn’t remember exactly how I did it. It seemed like I got lucky. I was dreading having to do it again. Neither had the book cover. so I was trying different audiobook apps and came across bound. One review said it works solidly every time. So I paid four dollars and gave it a try. Wow! I can now bypass iTunes completely. All I have to do is use the web uploading page. So I open that page on my computer and I open that same page in the Bound app and suddenly it’s so simple for me to get books into my phone! I was pleasantly surprised that the book covers magically appear. I’m not sure that will always happen but so far I put about 10 books into my iPhone and the cover came with each one. I don’t usually rave about apps but this one is really extra helpful. I love this app highly recommend.

It’s $4 because it’s the best one. Basically instant access from your cloud storage of choice, with a simple download all option to grab the entire book at once, or pick and choose yourself. Does a great job of parsing and organizing with zero input from me. This is the best app for your drm-less audiobook needs.

I’ve been suffering through different methods of playing audiobooks for years. This app is a no-brainer. The player itself, the SIMPLE audiobook import process and integrated book cover search… I’m actually stunned at the value I got for so little. Well done, dev. Top notch.

This app worked correctly for a about a week, and now I can’t import anything from Apple files on my phone. The app says “processing…”, but then nothing, after many attempts. I wasted money on a scam.

Why would you remove Native Google Drive Functionality??? This was the main reason I bought your app. Please bring back this feature!!

So clean and easy to use. Love it. Is there a support page or anything?
