Bound - Audiobook Player

I tried a lot of audiobook-players to use for playing my downloaded audiobooks. Bound is the best, and it has never let me down

I tried multiple audiobook players and it works much better than any other alternative.

I have tried several audiobook apps, and this stayed my favorite for the last 3 year. Highly recommend!

This audiobook app has almost everything you need. There could be more speed options however.

When rewinding from iOS Control Center playback is muted in the app and can’t be restored without restarting app. Minor thing, but annoying!

Really the best way to listen to DRM-free books without having to sync them using iTunes! A watch app would be a great addition. I would love to have an easy way to play DRM-free books using just the watch! :)

Perfect for playing your audiobooks from your files app

This is a pretty good, no frills audiobook player. It has a super clean UI and works really well. I consider it my backup book player at this point. The problem is that there’s already a free book player on the market that has the major features that I never really knew I needed until I tried out this app. 1. The sleep timer works as intended, but one feature that would be nice is to have a “reset sleep timer when play button is hit” feature. If you’re listening to a book and haven’t fallen asleep by the time the book stops, then you’re forced to go back into the app and reset the timer. 2. A control panel widget to resume playing the last boom where you left off. Having a 1 click solution to playing your audiobooks is SUPER handy and something I feel gets overlooked.

I’ve been using Bound for at least five years now! It’s one of the few reasons I keep my old iPhone and resist switching to Android! I was happy to see that the app got an update with the fresh layer of paint this year, and I may come up with several ideas how to improve it, but the only critical thing to me is the option to export and import the bookmarks! Bookmarks feature was how I initially discovered Bound. But I can’t keep my entire audiobook library in the app, and perhaps no more than 9 books at a time, then when I remove a book from the app - all my bookmarks are gone forever!
