Bound allows you to import audio files from various cloud services and play them back in a beautiful modern interface. Bound will automatically save your listening position so that you never lose your place.

- Move audio files between books.

- Sort based on author, title, recently added, and recently played.
- Rename title and author.
- Choose between a number of fun themes.
- Dark mode support.

Play

- Automatically saves playback location as you progress through the book.
- Independently configure seek forward and seek backward times.
- Chapter support for audio files with embedded chapters (.m4a / .m4b / OverDrive .mp3).
- Change playback speed from 0.5X to 3.0X.
- Smart Rewind when returning to your book after a while.
- Sleep Timer with configurable time or at the end of a chapter.
- Manually bookmark locations that you want to return to.

Used to be a big fan of this app, but OneDrive doesn’t work anymore. It is officially supported, but it says ‘No audio in folder’ when there are definitely audio files in the folder.

So that means Dropbox is the only remaining Cloud option left (if that does actually work, which I haven’t tested)

I wished that I could sync audiobooks from my G Drive. I tried multiple times. This does not work.

I also tried via your Web Uploader. This approach also does not work. Is there anything else that I could do differently to use your app?

Sinds apple changed the use of audiobooks I switched to Bound and it’s the best, easy to put books in it thru the web and simply easy when you listen, 2 thumps up

This keeps being shilled on Reddit. It doesn’t work, nor can you refund it. You can set things to download but it will stop the moment your screen turns off. And then you cannot cancel the downloads or redo them.  It has no file sharing enabled like book player or mp3 audio book player. It has no trial version and you cannot get a refund

I was looking for an audiobook player for my own DRM-free audiobooks and Bound is fantastic at elegantly and reliably playing them. It can even pull files out of cloud storage right from the app. Love this app and it’s well worth the money.

When it works is quite nice, no need to use a Pc or Mac to add a new book to your device  and your library is always available. The downside is it is a bit buggy, downloads from onedrive most of the time are throwing an error at 100%.

It lacks iwatch support which is really a pitty.

Good update. Faster loading. More clean design, though I loved the old more cosey design actually. 

Great that the app now actually recognizes the name and artist of the original imported folder. 

But why you did not bring the option of 5 seconds in the Preferences of  'Seek Forward' and 'Seek Backward'?
I am very disappointed. I love your app, I use it every day for my studies. And every time I get so frustrated that when I need to seek backward because I a word or sentenced is not clearly pronounced, I have to listen back the whole 15 seconds before that over and over again. You updated the app now twice in the years that I've been using Bound. And you just ignored my plead, which I wrote in an earlier review on the App Store. Why?!
It would make it absolutely perfect for me and I would have loved to give it 5 stars.

I was lost when I found out that the 8.4 iOS update moved all my folders with audiobooks from the Music app to iBooks. And also changed the names of many of my audiobooks. Suddenly I had just a bunch of hundreds of audiobooks. Many with meaningless names. Without any order to it. Imagine having hundreds of cd's with hiphop and classical music in a bunch without any order. 
Thanks Apple, what an awful idea. 

There are many audiobook apps but none of them really work for folders with audiobooks. Tried most of them. 

Found this app through an article online by accident. This app should be on top of your list. 

I have enough space of my iPhone. That wasn't my problem. 

Love this app and highly recommend it.

### **--- "Not what I expected"
I'm a bit disappointed to be honest. I was hoping the app would let me create a library of audiobooks in the cloud and then listen to them on demand so as not to use up the valuable storage on my 16gb iPhone. Unfortunately, when adding an audiobook to Bound, it requires me to download all the parts locally to the phone, which pretty much defeats the purpose of keeping them in Dropbox. I guess I expected it to behave more like a podcast app, where I can stream or download as I choose. I will go back to using Justcast to create a podcast feed from books in my Dropbox and use a podcast player to stream them or download a chapter at a time.
