Bound - Audiobook Player

Appen gjør det den skal - og den gjør det veldig bra! Elsker at jeg kan overføre lydbøker trådløst fra PCen til mobilen, at det er lett å oppdatere lydbøkene, og at å navigere i dem er så smidig.

Shows 3 folders in my Dropbox, so I cannot even access the one with my audiobooks

Rarely recognizes my audiobooks and often refuses to «process» the files and make them playable in Bound

it hardly does anything better than native apps suchh as ibooks or other apps, for something you have to buy, it is far from up to spec. In particular the playback speed function sounds horrible compared to other apps. The one upside to this app is the easy and practical Dropbox(icloud, etc.) implementation.

Love the app. Would love to see an icon badge with unplayed audiobooks count.

Perfect for playing your audiobooks from your files app

This is a pretty good, no frills audiobook player. It has a super clean UI and works really well. I consider it my backup book player at this point. The problem is that there’s already a free book player on the market that has the major features that I never really knew I needed until I tried out this app. 1. The sleep timer works as intended, but one feature that would be nice is to have a “reset sleep timer when play button is hit” feature. If you’re listening to a book and haven’t fallen asleep by the time the book stops, then you’re forced to go back into the app and reset the timer. 2. A control panel widget to resume playing the last boom where you left off. Having a 1 click solution to playing your audiobooks is SUPER handy and something I feel gets overlooked.

I’ve been using Bound for at least five years now! It’s one of the few reasons I keep my old iPhone and resist switching to Android! I was happy to see that the app got an update with the fresh layer of paint this year, and I may come up with several ideas how to improve it, but the only critical thing to me is the option to export and import the bookmarks! Bookmarks feature was how I initially discovered Bound. But I can’t keep my entire audiobook library in the app, and perhaps no more than 9 books at a time, then when I remove a book from the app - all my bookmarks are gone forever!
