It doesn't have an iPad app though, which was something of a surprise.

It doesn't have support for the Files app or iTunes file sharing either, which is jawdropping. It has a built-in http webserver instead, and that only works if you're online. It doesn't use the internet, it just refuses to work without internet.

### ***** "Exactly what I was looking for"
I really love this app. After trying SO many other options for my archive of audiobooks, most from CDs, Bound does exactly what I need it to do. 

I can easily organise files in the app, unlike with Books. I can listen to audio from a variety of sources, unlike Audible. I can quickly delete and update files via Dropbox, unlike Apple Music. 

There’s a very simple chapter navigation, sleep timer, and importing files is very easy. Worth every penny. 

Only thing I’d like to see is being able to move multiple files at a time, rather than one by one.

Not sure why but every now and then the app cleans out my entire library. 

I think it may be because the apple stores the books in a cache instead of a library. I only assume this. Because in the storage bit in the iPhone settings it just shows the total amount of storage used not the individual books

I think the iPhone sees the books as cache and then cleans them out. Maybe to save space

I am only guessing all this. What ever causes the issues, it is very annoying.

### ***** "Easy, does what it says on the tin."
I have a bunch of audiobooks from cds or cassettes that I turned into mp3 files. This app is great for playing these. Really easy to bring the audiobooks into the library, and you can change the album cover so it’s easier to view when scrolling through. Also when resuming it rewinds back about 30 seconds, making it easier to remember where you were in the story! I love this app because there’s no complications - it’s nice and simple.

This is the best app of its kind on the App Store. Simple, very thoughtfully designed, easy to use, supports many import mechanisms. Hence: 5 stars. And for this price, you could not ask for more. However here I am asking for more! ;) Three wishes on the wish list: 1. AN IPAD VERSION 2. Move multiple tracks at once (useful to combine CD1 and CD2 tracks quickly, or split several books imported at once). 3. Playlists or folders. My kid has a million 20-minute audiobooks. I have four 12-hour ones. I can’t find mine on the list.

In iPhone 14 pro on latest ios version, you cannot download a book from the Apple “files” section 

Then with OneDrive you cannot scroll down through a full list of folders if there are too many.. it stops around halfway in a list of 300 folders. No sign of any updates from the developer

Although this app is mostly functional, the developer does not seem to be responding any more to queries. I have a triangle/exclamation mark appearing on a download (from Google drive) that I have tried downloading multiple times. So my review is relating to this issue, and a shame about the lack of support, as the app is largely ok.
