It used to be fine years ago when I first started with it, but now: after a few minutes it starts to work slower and slower until it stops working completely and just continuously tries to carry out the next command-but never die. I tried closing and reopening the app, removing it and reinstalling but I keep getting the same bad results.

UPDATE: There is still no option to log in using Google using the mobile app. I redownloaded to try after someone responded to this review and the issue remains. 😒 ORIGINAL REVIEW: I went from using this app frequently to being completely unable to use it. Why is there no option to sign in via Google on the app? Please fix this. I can’t stand having to use my computer to access Box. I need access on the go.

I need to log in 6-10 times to read or downoad my files. Then it stops working. Rise and repeat. I deleted and downloaded again. Then I could not even log in for at least 30 minutes. I was concerned I lost access to all my files.

This new version you go to click on something and you know you wanna see them like all the items in your category that folder and then you try to click back you can it just buffers forever and it’s not my service it’s just the app itself I don’t like this new version. I’d like the previous version. It was much better. You can thumb nail them and look at them. All you know thumbnail or you can enlarge them and then like scroll through them, you can’t do that and you can’t even click back. You have to click completely out of the app flick it away so you completely close it and then reopen it and then try to start again and you still can’t see them I mean, there’s too many issues with this new version. I don’t like it. I like the previous version better.

I use box for work and have no issue on desktop but the new mobile update is NOT user friendly. They got rid of some features, reorganized and moved others under new tabs, and overall did a horrible job with the ux/ ui redesign. Disappointing that they’ve made it more difficult instead of simpler.

Most of the time, I can’t preview any docs so I have to resort to downloading it which is not what I want. I end up going to back to the desktop app on Mac and even there, it’s a bad experience because slightly larger docs seems to crash Box web UI. Box really only works well as repository for docs with rev control.

I am forced by my employer to use Box.  I have it on my iPad and on my MacBook Pro.  The files are rarely in sync with each other.  If I access Box only through a browser, that seems to work, but not through the native apps.  Don’t use Box if you have a choice!!!
