Get energy effortlessly when you’re charging on the go with the bp pulse app. 
 
Our network is one of the Uk’s largest – with more than 9,000 EV charging points.
 
Register on the app and upgrade to a bp pulse subscription to:
•	Unlock your special free offer, 1 month free subscription*
•	Pay 20% less** than when you Pay as You Go with our best on the go charging tariff. 
•	Order a bp pulse charge card if you’d prefer a different way to start your charge. 
 
Or register as a free Pay as You Go user and simply add a payment card within the app wallet to get started. 
 
Both Subscribers and Pay as You Go users can use the app too: 
•	Start and stop a charge
•	Save your favourite charging points on our live map
•	Find available electric vehicle charging stations 
•	Filter by connector type and kW speed
•	Check charging history and download VAT receipts

 bp’s here for your travel needs – mostly with petrol and diesel – but bp pulse already has over 3,000 rapid and ultra-fast charging points.

### *---- "Frustrating, expensive to use and designed to keep your money"
Keeps logging me out.  The login process is convoluted and proving to be incompatible with the local WiFi (no network service here so reliant on WiFi for connectivity). 
When I eventually managed to login, the first charging station continually refused to work and the best that support could offer was a reboot (made no difference).  Eventually managed to charge but, having returned for a top up, I have been logged out again and cannot get past the 403 error that the login process keeps triggering.
The cost has proved more expensive that regular fuel and, to add insult to injury, I cannot access the small amount of remaining credit because BP insists I have a minimum of £5 credit to use their machine.  Why?  I can only imagine how much money BP makes from forcing users to keep a credit balance at all times.  I’ll be pressing for a refund.

The service and experience is very good and smooth but the price of £.85 per kilowatt is ridiculous ridiculously expensive.  I would only use them as a last resort.

### **--- "Hard to review app in isolation"
BP are woeful at fixing faults and have a terrible habit of removing chargers from the map in this app if the charger is down. This means one can arrive at a known charger only to find it’s impossible to activate. There’s no help desk functionality or ticket tracking. The backend system has gone down a few times making everything useless. 

Ultimately the app itself isn’t too bad however as it doesn’t do anything in isolation only the entire experience can be reviewed and it’s found seriously wanting.

I’ve just bought an electric car and my employer has a couple of chargers for employees to use so I thought I’d sign up. I’ve been trying to create an account for about two weeks now and the app won’t let me progress. I’ve called the support line who firstly said they’ll send it to the technical department and on my second call they said the app is broken and they would fix it. That was a week ago.

Excellent facilities, the only letdown was not enough Charging Stations they only have 4 and two of them were out of order, I moved my car as soon as it hit 100% charge and noticed at lease 6 other electric vehicles waiting to use the chargers. Other than that, the app is a doddle to use, but make sure you have it installed before you charge for convenience

If you sort these reviews by the most recent, you’ll see how appallingly bad this app is. These bad reviews have been going on now for almost 2 years and the developers have done absolutely nothing to try and address the issues raised. The app remains buggy, slow, and at times totally non-functioning. I’ve got so fed up with it I’ve deleted it and will now only use other charging machines which, fortunately, there are now enough in my local area and across the country. BP is making billions of pounds profit but can’t develop a simple efficiently-functioning app. I suggest you delete this app and use competitor apps which are so much more efficient.

Terrible app and service. Applied a code from an insurance policy that was for a 6 month subscription and £27 charging credit. The code appeared to be accepted, then a week or so later without explanation the subscribe and save section of the app had reset, no card was ever received and I’m now being asked to re-subscribe.
