Not good app
Why is that so?
I have to delete the app since I am transferring it to my other phone. I am trying to log.in but it always says try it again later. For how many times. I have to pay rates since I am located abroad. Can anyone fix this? The new app is very disappointing.
forced to use the app on my roaming phone
this new app is now forcing me to use it on my roaming phone, which is not really an issue but when it does the device registration, the verifying step is always not successful and i always get the “try again later” error, because the sms is not getting sent successfully for whatever reason. i tested sending a normal sms to myself and it is successful, so it’s not my phone, it’s not my phone balance, it’s most likely from bpi’s side. even if i wanted to change my mobile number i CANNOT do that, because it’s asking me to go to “my nearest bpi atm”. DEAD. I WANT TO GIVE NEGATIVE STARS.
dangerously unfunctional app! Beware!
I want to open an account thru this app but everytime I try i met SEVERAL TECHNICAL PROBLEMS like they asked me to take a photo of my id but there is NO shutter button. At some steps I asked to provide info, once I typed it, it doesnt proceed to the next page. One thing is for more, they keep on telling me to delete/reinstall the app, update my iOs etc. But none of these really worked. As of writing, Ive been trying for 8 days straight every single day to open an account but still no success. What a waste of offer saying their mobile app is convenient. It’s mere lie!
BPI WHY DON’T YOU DO SOMETHING?!
We have been complaining here over and over! We cannot transfer nor pay our bills! What is your DEV TEAM DOING?! When you click the Mobile Key Push Notif to approve the transaction , it just PROMPTS YOU TO LOG OUT! You haven’t also fixed any problems that we encountered in this new app like the keyboard issue for the decimal point. Just a simple request as that!
Can’t register when you’re overseas
When I tried using the app, it asked me to send a message to a number. Since I’m overseas, i dont think the message is sent so the verification just reached timeout hence I cant log into the app.
older version was way better
this app s*cks. had to reload for my roaming sim for registering the device as this is supposed to send a text msg but i can‘t get it to work. digital banks are really so much better and when bpi tried to be one it can‘t compare to them.
Worst banking app ever
Who the hack is developing such an app ? You better train and educate your developers before you let them work on a serious banking app. The new app is worse than the old good working app. Now there is no registration on tablets without a sim card, no transfer and all the other issues, that many other customers already complained about long before. Are you not willing to fix these issues or are your technicians not able to do it ? This is neither customer friendly, nor service orientated - like not answering all the criticisms and reviews from your customers (who, by the way pay your salaries) and not providing any informations about your future improvement-steps for this lousy app !
Okay but leaves a lot to be desired
Updates often break functions that worked before. For example with Version 3.0 the registration for mobile pin on a phone had to be repeated. With a proper beta test in place something like this should not have happened. Additionally, some functions like exchange $ is still not available in the App and can only be done via the web interface. That makes no sense at all. Please have a look at some banking apps from other countries to see what is possible in 2023. Maybe it’s time to be a bit more innovative.
