## BrainPulse Dual N-Back Description
BrainPulse is a scientifically-backed brain training app built around the Dual N-Back task — the gold standard of cognitive training with over 20 peer-reviewed studies supporting its effectiveness.

Unlike other brain games that rely on unproven puzzles, BrainPulse focuses on a single, research-validated exercise shown to improve fluid intelligence, working memory, and executive function.

HOW IT WORKS

The Dual N-Back task challenges you to track two streams of information simultaneously — visual positions on a grid and audio cues. You decide whether the current stimulus matches the one from N steps back. It sounds simple, but as N increases, so does the challenge.

FEATURES

- Adaptive Difficulty: Your N-Level adjusts automatically based on accuracy, keeping you in the optimal training zone
- Three Game Modes: Dual, Position-only, and Sound-only to target specific cognitive skills
- Detailed Statistics: Track N-Level trends, accuracy percentages, and streaks with clear, beautiful charts
- Quick Start: One tap to begin a session. Configure rounds, speed, and N-Level — or just hit Quick Start
- Cloud Sync: Sign in with Apple to sync your progress seamlessly across devices
- Customizable Sessions: Choose from 20 to 50 rounds and adjust speed from 2.0s to 4.0s intervals

THE SCIENCE

In 2008, a landmark study by Jaeggi et al. demonstrated that consistent Dual N-Back training can improve fluid intelligence — your ability to reason and solve new problems. Since then, over 20 published studies have continued to explore and support these findings. BrainPulse brings this research out of the lab and into your daily routine.

WHY BRAINPULSE?

Most brain training apps gamify random puzzles with no scientific backing. BrainPulse is different. Every session is a focused cognitive workout designed to strengthen the neural circuits underlying working memory and cognitive control.

- No filler games or gimmicks
- Grounded in peer-reviewed research
