Buried in darkness, you wait. When the time comes, you must make your first choice: reach for the light above, or the water below? This single decision begins a journey spanning centuries - a life told in choices, seasons, and the slow patience only trees possess. BRANCHING is an interactive story experienced from the perspective of an oak tree. Every choice shapes who you become: a towering giant chasing the sky, a deep-rooted elder nurturing an underground network, or a generous shelter hosting generations of life in your branches. - • - THREE PATHS, INFINITE WISDOM REACHING - Grow tall. Chase the canopy. Face storms, survive lightning, catch the attention of humans who see you as timber or treasure. ROOTING - Grow deep. Build networks beneath the soil. Compete with rivals, nurture seedlings, survive poisons that seep through the earth. SPREADING - Grow wide. Become a world. Host eagles in your crown, children in your branches, and face the blight that threatens everything you shelter. - • - 24 POETIC ENDINGS Each path leads to multiple endings: some triumphant, some bittersweet, some transcendent. You might become a ship sailing oceans you never knew existed. A house sheltering generations of a family. A hollow sanctuary filled with unexpected life. A fading elder dissolving into the network you sustained. No ending is wrong. Every ending is earned. - • - A CONTEMPLATIVE EXPERIENCE Branching is not a game to rush through. It's a meditation on growth, patience, resilience, and what it means to live a rooted life in a changing world. Beautiful watercolour illustrations accompany each moment of your journey, fading in and out like memories, like seasons, like the slow passage of a life measured in rings rather than years. - • - FEATURES · 60+ story moments across three branching paths · 24 unique endings to discover · Atmospheric watercolour artwork for every scene · Gentle transitions that honour the pace of a tree's life · Endings gallery to track your discoveries · One complete journey free, then unlock all paths - • - "I am not the tree I intended to be. But I am still here, still growing, still reaching... even if I am reaching in directions I never expected." Begin your journey. Become the tree.
