## Breaktime Description
How it works:

- Block apps permanently or set a schedule
- Friction before EVERY unlock with 14+ different modes
- Set a time limit on how long you'll unlock for
- When your time's up your apps are automatically reblocked

Other features designed for focus:

- 14+ friction modes to help you reconsider: pushups, eye contact, tap to unlock, typing a quote or a breathing cycle and more.
- Strict Mode, where no breaks or bypasses are allowed.
- Travel Mode, automatically unblock apps when you're away from home.
- Scheduling: Setup automatic recurring blocking.
- Set a daily limit goal and stay motivated with streaks.
- Advanced customisations to suit your focus needs.
- No collection of your phone usage or personal data.
- Minimal UI designed as simple as possible to be less stimulating and distracting.
- Lightning-fast setup. You’re ready to go in 30 seconds.

In a world where apps do everything they can now to keep you scrolling, Breaktime is designed to give you back control. It takes a different approach, believing that being intentional with your downtime and deciding how long you want to spend on an app beforehand is essential to digital wellbeing. It’s built for the people who value their focus, productivity, and time away from your phone.

## Breaktime Reviews in United States

### ***** "I suggest this app"
Only app that works for me and is cheap too
-- Dane kadlec, 2026-03-26

### ***-- "Good app, update broke it"
Loved the app at first, and used it to block Narwhal (Reddit third party app), and the YouTube Chrome page. I was so happy with it that I even paid to be a subscriber even though I’m only blocking two links. Sadly, somehow an update broke it and now can’t block YouTube at all. Not the regular desktop address, or the mobile address. Now I’m stuck doom scrolling YouTube reels again when I wish it was blocked. Pls fix :( I had to unsub since it’s just not working anymore
-- PrimarchMartorious, 2025-11-25

### ****- "More accountability"
If you make it harder to get breaks like limiting how many you can take in a day that’s would be great you can late a setting where you pick between just trying to get better or hardcore mode where you have a daily limited break.
-- graves into gardens, 2025-10-27

### ***-- "iPhone"
Dorsnt work on iPhone 16e
-- anisquash, 2025-10-26

### **--- "Does not work"
Doesn’t work iPhone 14 pro max
-- Hardcore Reviewer 2011, 2025-10-15
