Breather Coach Reviews

Disappointed of the Age Restriction

Mjb83 on

United States

I bought the Breather Voice for my daughter who has Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD). I gifted it to her early for Christmas because basketball season has already started and she needs to try and train her and strengthen her laryngeals and breathing. After gifting her the device, she can’t download this app!!! Y’all need to fix the age restriction ASAP!!! I didn’t purchase her Breather for her to not be able to use it with the app. She’s 15. The device is for ages 8-98. Why is the app for 17+???? It’s ridiculous. I feel like I should have spent the extra money and got the airofit pro that’s app allows users ages 4+. May very well send back the device for a refund and go that route anyway.

Replay

floridaStyles on

United States

I can't replay a video for a day. I am on day four accidentally exited out of the video and now you can't replay it. I've even started the app again. Otherwise app is pretty decent.

Do not like as did with original app

hardtdc on

United States

No way to set up interval settings until the start of each training session. It functions ok to meet the goal of providing a trainer but doesn’t really do anything else other than giving a daily training notification.

Added features

Love to breathe on

United States

I like that you brought back some of the old features and added a few new ones. So much better! Great job!

Bad app, now even worse

Tempamatic on

United States

What was an inexplicably inept app is now just plain bad. It still forces you to watch its terrible videos if you want to change anything. It still forces you to take one day per week off. Worse, it’s now taken away the capability of allowing an extra second or two for inhaling or exhaling. Why is that no longer selectable? This company needs to get outside its “we know what’s best for you” medical bubble and find somebody who knows how to create an iOS app. This is a disaster.

Horrible downgrade

K&Jacked on

United States

What a absolute piece of garbage. Not 1 improvement from the old app. ZERO Stars!

Like the breather, hate the app

Dave Abq on

United States

Learned how to use The Breather device with my speech therapist after having throat cancer. She had the old app and it was fine. This version of the app is terrible. Had to devise my own method of timing my breaths in and out so I wouldn’t have to use the app.

Terrible

Jasmi1965 on

United States

I can’t hate this app enough. I didn’t like it before the new one and this one is even worse. Such a shame because I do love the tool. But, if I had known how terrible this app was before buying the tool I wouldn’t have spent the money.

Downgrade

tbosch55 on

United States

I liked the countdown. Don’t like this at all.

Way more difficult to use than the prior version

KPjourn on

United States

Can’t make adjustments, can’t find a way to set the rest day, can’t find a way to look at my history. Sometimes people try to improve apps, but leave behind the best aspects. It isn’t all about the visuals/graphics for an app like this. It’s about ease of use and tracking.
