Prana is the vital energy that permeates all of Creation. Yama is the art of manipulating and enlivening this energetic principle. The controlled act of Breathing is the instrument that orchestrates the symphony of human physiology through the autonomic nervous system and serves to enliven Prana. The App teaches the learner 'how' to breathe at the resonant frequency of the human being, i.e. 4-7 breaths a minute, by emphasizing the sound, uniformity and rhythm of the exhale. The musical components to each breath-work exercise, provide a soulful element to the practice, that makes it effortless and meditative. Breathonance combines the rhythmic aspects of breathing and music and puts them in dialogue. Breathonance is not meditation, it is mindful breathing.
