I get about a date a week from using for 30 mins
So after spending a bit more time on this app I have to change my scoring. The customers service is good but AI really interferes here. Ive had two dates mess up because things couldn’t be rescheduled or I’m being over charged and it’s not sorted out in time leading to lost dates and even frozen accounts! It still has the best potential across all the thumb/swipe culture apps but it seriously needs to finesse.
This app is great in the sense that it takes a lot of the admin out of dating which for me is what puts me off. I have had lots of dates which too is great. I would say for that reason it’s the best on the market right now. However, the date locations aren’t easily accessible. I have actually found that they skew considerably more to where the man lives (I’m a heterosexual woman). Which means in some instances I’d have to get a train and tube home. You also can’t input where you work because that might also make a difference in where you’re happy to go to. As you only find out the location about 24 hours before so it becomes a scramble to ask them to change location. Which they send a response back saying essentially that when the chat opens you can tell the match you can’t make it. But the chat doesn’t open until 2 hours before the date. So that isn’t enough time to allow them to change their plans. They then say use the “walk” date function. The walk date function doesn’t give you the same time slots as the regular date setting. It’s mainly during the day, the only evening time slot is 6pm. But I work Monday-Friday until 5/6pm so that doesn’t really work for me either. Again the location is revealed just 1 day in advance so far it’s been the same location which is Leicester Square. Which is great for me but I appreciate not great for others. Also it’s so busy - it’s a strange location to try and meet someone you’ve never met before. Additionally to add more confusion, the address for Leicester Square is a place in clerkenwell (a place over a mile away). Also the money you pay for “regular date” which gets the daters a drink doesn’t go towards the venue at all. Which I think is outrageous. Also certain filters can’t be made a “non negotiable” which means I get people who aren’t looking for the same things as me especially when it comes to kids or relationship style (serious/ casual). And I get people that don’t live in London. Right now the app is hard enough to make a date in London let alone trying to meet someone from Coventry. I really hope they can look to improve it as there is a lot of potential.
This is the best dating app I’ve deleted the others now. They are really quick at responding if you have any issues or questions I really like it
Never had a match in two months even with ugly women
Dates keep getting booked at locations that are not near either party and are outside central London. Helpdesk are unable to change location as they are always 'very busy' which doesn't seem believable (there are a LOT of bars in London!). Results in you losing date tokens that you've paid for. Very annoying, will be uninstalled.
Well spent
Breeze dating app, is a great way of helping people take dating seriously. I like that you can set a date, time and they sort out the rest. The problem with app it’s inflexibility, I’ve accidentally liked a profile and because that person liked me I cannot undo that like and I’m forced to pay for a date before I can look at other people. I’m not flaky and if I like the profile I pay for the date. You cannot cancel a date or it’ll freeze you out. Another thing if you buy a token for more than two weeks and haven’t used it or if the person cancels you don’t get a refund. Which I don’t understand because I haven’t used it for a date so why keep the money ? Also the walk and talk option does not come up you’re forced to pay for dates. I get it you want to make money but it just seems like a bit of a scheme. There needs to be more flexibility when it comes to undo matches.
I really like the way the app works. Compared to normal dating apps, there is minimal to no ghosting once you match. The app has an incentive to get you matched as well as you’ll pay for the date, so the algorithm tends to give a good mix of potential matches.
I’ve met a few people from this app and have had a great time, it really helps cut out time wasters and it’s really Neurodivergent friendly if you’re a person who doesn’t like chatting endlessly online.
