## Bridge Base Online - BBO Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Ads destroyed this app"
The latest update introduced ads that take you away from the game mid-hand, which destroys your concentration. Please fix!
-- Patrick74137, 2025-01-08

### ***-- "Annoying timing of ads"
I understand the need for advertising but do they have to pop up in the middle of playing a hand every few minutes? Distracting and frustrating….
-- DPBergxyz, 2025-01-02

### *---- "Zero security"
I had to reset my password. This resulted in an email with a link that gave me my new password, in the clear. That password was four alphanumeric character. When I tried setting a new one, I got errors in the app, on mobile Safari (private browsing and not), on desktop Safari (private browsing and not, and on desktop Chrome (incognito on and off). Tech support offered no help, despite multiple exchanges in which I explained, each time, that I had taken every step they suggested prior to contacting them. I was treated as if I were incompetent. Furthermore, their password system only accepts alphanumeric inputs of up to 8 total characters, so creating a secure password is impossible. And they will happily store my payment information in that environment.

This is pretty much the only way to get a decent game of bridge online, but I cannot and will not place my information at risk by providing to a company that refuses to permit me the opportunity to provide even basic modern security.

Update after developer response. I wish the problem were with tech support. It is mostly the utter disregard for users’ data protection that makes the app and site a complete non-starter for me.
-- Andrew Purvis, 2024-12-12

### ***-- "Ads interrupting games is unacceptable"
TROUBLE!!! App interrupted three games this morning with ads. Unacceptable!!!
-- Bnmaddgghjjkll, 2024-12-01

### *---- "Ad ruined grand slam"
On the way to winning a grand slam and an ad pops up. Of course, the ad locks up, as it usually does, and I lose the game. Thanks.
-- ZoeyDeck, 2024-11-22

### *---- "Unable to upload app"
Unable to upload app on iPad
-- IHTwamh, 2024-10-16

### ***-- "App is crashing"
For the past few months, the App crashes without any warning. I have turn my iPad off and start it again. This is happening to several of my friends. I have deleted the App and reloaded it. That did not help either. Can this problem be fixed.
-- Madan Mittal, 2024-10-08

### *---- "Ads never end"
I can’t play in solitaire mode because the ads never finish loading and then they never end. The app is totally non-functional as it is.
-- DD KS, 2024-10-05

### ****- "Too Touchy!"
Love to play game but it’s so touchy. Always losing game in the middle of play if you happen to touch anything. Wish it would stay on game until you are finished. Lately it’s been so slooow.also why does it break into Musi
Ic just when you’re thinking what to play. Reseal accepted or not is a waste of my time.
-- katy bg, 2024-09-29

### ****- "My keyboard is delayed and sometimes freezes"
After about 30 minutes of playing, my keyboard begins to slow down drastically, and then freezes.
I’ve tried many things, including deleting and re-downloading, to no avail. My internet is fine, my battery life is good and not overheating, and my iPad has lots of memory and is up-to-date.
