Not really
Good idea, but doesn’t work. App must be open and active on both devices to work. Does not message when in your pocket. Also does not deliver undelivered messages when both online.
Technically works
You can message offline but it won’t notify the other person, you have to manually check to see if you have new messages. It has constant full screen ads unless you pay for no ads which is fine imo It’s silly that you have to sign in with internet before you can use it offline.
Still doesn’t work
What’s wrong with this company ??!! The app never works. None of the updates ever work. Before you couldn’t find other users, now the app shuts down and closes as soon as you start it. Beyond useless 🥴
Irritating ads
I would be willing to accept unobtrusive banner ads, considering this is a free app… but Bridgefy has full screen ads that pop up randomly and you have to manually close out of them. Avoid downloading this crap.
Doesn’t work
Notifications don’t get through. Phone will vibrate but no icons or visual notifications on my screen. Also, doesn’t show anyone in range when I’m sitting next to them.

Literally Does Not Work
Open the app in broadcast mode on 2 iPhones right beside each other and they never see the other. It’s literally impossible to send a message to another user.
Just doesn't work anymore
Agree with the other reviews. Doesn't work with iPhone 8 running iOS 15.3. No message go anywhere.
