This app has several glitches, and all around poor design and navigation, making the process much slower and more painful than needed. I’m hoping to find something in this product category that actually works so I can deploy it at many customer sites, but I’m still searching. The process to enable SMS notifications seems to be broken, I add my phone number to my app profile (after already adding it to my Okta auth profile), but once I finally receive the SMS code, it tells me to enter a valid phone number. Derp. I’d rather have push notifications in the app than SMS. Maybe a device firmware update is needed, but I can’t find a firmware update button or automatic firmware update schedule config anywhere. This unit should have a modem reboot feature built in, so that if its connection to the internet is broken, it automatically power cycles one of the outlets; all of the needed hardware is already in the unit to do this, just need to build it into the firmware and app. What I also need is the ability to prioritize loads during power outages, so that different loads can be powered off at different battery remaining % levels. Per-outlet power usage metrics would also be great.
