Every damn time the app forces me to sign in; why? Frustrating and annoying and useless. Every one sits around the marketing department wondering why people unsubscribe!!

All my old great favourites,plus all the new shows,all so good🌟. I would also love to watch Songs of Praise if possible,great music,stories and including ancient and modern British history💫. [I do appreciate seeing this programme on the ABC however it’s not really up to date and has repeat episodes]. I would also like to thank you for your Royal documentaries and especially the funeral coverage of our beloved Sovereign Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 and Prince Philip.I appreciated your kind email,sharing the sadness,respect and love at this this time.It was really good also to join in the celebrations of the coronation of King Charles 111, and Queen Camilla🌟. The app keeps cutting out the sound in parts it’s happening every couple of minutes. I contacted support they couldn’t help me or try to find the problem and it got so bad I had to cancel my subscription! There was no offer for compensation on the fact I could barely use the app
I’ve paid my subscription and have logged onto the tv app, phone app and website. All three are asking me to pay for my subscription. I have my receipt that says I’m paid.
Content itself is fabulous… when it works. Quite often it comes up with “having trouble accessing your account” or if I do manage to get it to play an episode of anything instead of going to next episode it comes up with “this content is currently unavailable…” very frustrating
Warning: unlike all other streaming services, Britbox does not allow you to cancel it’s subscription on your Apple ID account settings ! Making it more difficult to get out of the free trial (specially after they jumped up the price after I joined in). Calling Apple support 🤨🧐😣 ITS BROKEN ! Freezes too many times, for too long! Latest update was not tested so it doesn’t open! I type username & password, click Sign In and all I get is a dark blank screen!!!☹️😩😫
I'm in Australia and with Britbox advertising heavily decided to sign up for the 7 day free trial. After installing the app on my 2 year old iPad and logging in I'm greeted with a message saying "Britbox is not available where you are". I'm in Australia and signed up on their Australian website, my ISP is an Australian ISP and I don't use any VPN so not sure what the go is. Logged a support request and got a reply after two days saying they recently had a service disruption. I tried again and got exactly the same error so back to support again. At this rate my free trial will have expired and not been able to watch anything. Support are too slow and app is garbage so will be cancelling before they get the chance to charge my credit card which I'm sure they will do that on time. I really wanted to watch a few British shows but not meant to be, I'll stick with Amazon Prime as it works without any issues.
If you set the app playing and leave it alone, it’s great. It plays, you can find stuff okay. The selection is small but has some good stuff- as it says on the tin. However- the service does have some quirks. Sometimes if you pause playback, or skip left or right the episode starts playing again from the start, not where you left off. There is no way to stop it playing the next episode- a toggle button in settings would be awesome. No way to have separate favourites lists- multiple users in the same household are not catered for. Casting works intermittently- sometimes it appears to be connected, but both devices have a black screen and the sound is coming out of the casting device only, not the receiver. The ‘continue watching’ section sometimes does not populate on the Home Screen, or the Home Screen does not load at all until you restart the app. Using on iPad Pro, iPad 8 and iPhone XS. Some of these issues (all but casting) appear on the web version too.
So buggy, when you try to play again from the place you were last at it instead goes to the start and it infuriates me. It doesn’t make sense to update as the old version was better. Hard to describe other inconsistencies but not a good experience.
