## British Airways Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Very poor"
Using to manage a booking is useless, cannot access seat selection. Wish I hadn’t updated.
-- GrumpyAuldyin13, 2026-09-11

### ***-- "Poor app"
Why keep changing things when it’s for the worse.
-- 2 guys, 2026-09-10

### ***** "Calendar access"
Please update iPhone app to utilise add to calendar rather than requesting full access
-- SiatGuildford, 2026-09-09

### *---- "Flight status • Arrival and flight number"
Majority of this app user would like to see flight status ( mostly arrivals ) on the homepage but this menu is hidden other side on the side menu bar

I don’t know who designed this app not thinking about App user first, that most of user would like track the flight arrivals and departure

maybe have a option to organise with your own choice menu bar on the bottom of the page/ app

And when trying to track the flight there should be flight number 1st rather than arriving location

Once this thing updated, I will honestly give this app all good five star ⭐

Thank you
-- Sevenoaks, 2026-09-08

### *---- "HORRIBLE"
it’s actually shocking how bad this app is. BA has put no effort into it. It’s a joke.
-- joel18, 2026-09-08

### *---- "Terrible user experience"
Countless dead ends, have to reenter same data countless times and where are the receipts for tickets/changes!!!! Useless service. Gonna spend my avios then quit BA forever
-- crashes eveytime, 2026-09-07

### *---- "Disappointing"
Can you please allow to book flights with the app instead of redirecting to your website what the actual F….
-- gilma22, 2026-09-04

### *---- "‘Upgraded’ app is terrible"
The new app is terrible. No boarding gate showing at all long after it’s announced on airport screens. No good
-- veleta2, 2026-09-02

### ***-- "Update"
App update is better interface but some features seems to be harder to find / removed
1) reward flight booking
2) seat reservations for upcoming flight
-- Sydneyxx, 2026-09-01

### *---- "Sep 2026 - missing share flight option!!"
App revamped but loss of essential feature: sharing flight detail via email or text! I use this to send the flighty email by or share with family. Why was this essential feature removed??
-- Ro88iero88ie, 2026-09-01

### *---- "Review"
A spymaster update
-- needs wheels, 2026-09-01

### *---- "Changing flights"
Horrendous experience. I was trying to rebook my avios flight but the website keeps crashing when I’m about to pay. I’ve tried restarting my phone, waited overnight before trying again, cleared my cache and cookies, cleared my tabs, used public wifi and mobile data, incognito, vpn, Safari and Google. I also tried selecting a peak and off peak dates. I also tried on a different phone and an ipad but it wanted to send OTP to my number but I wasn’t receiving anything and it might be because I was in another country. I’d appreciate it if OTPs can be sent via email or Whatsapp. I even asked a friend in the UK to rebook it for me, from her phone and laptop but the issue persisted. She also called BA for me but the waiting time was over half an hour at the time so we didn’t get through to anyone.

I used the Avios Whatsapp for help but they couldn’t do anything but raise a ticket for me. So I called internationally which costed me £80+ because I also had to wait for over half an hour before a lovely agent picked up the call and helped me rebook my flight.

It’s been resolved at a cost, when it should’ve taken 10 minutes to do and for free. I’ve been contacting Avios Whatsapp for a month now, every 10 days as they keep telling me someone will get in touch within 10 days. It’s been 31 days and nothing heard. As much as I love flying with BA, I not again. Poor customer service.
-- nsioson, 2026-08-31

### ***-- "Good but still faulty"
New app looks good but can’t access any trips . Keeps saying that there is a maintenance issue. This have been going on for 6/7 weeks now.
-- Mickleforth, 2026-08-30

### *---- "Key features from previous version missing"
Key features from previous version such as reward flight booking missing.
-- Marco_H2044, 2026-08-30

### *---- "More unavailable than open for business"
It’s a good app when it works.. but more often than not both the app and the website are not available..
-- Happy flixter, 2026-08-30

### ***-- "House hold account"
We recently made a booking for a trip . We have a house hold account , for avios etc , I think that is causing an issue , we do not get an option to manage our trip via the app … lots of other options but essentially not that
-- Tomhencdf, 2026-08-28

### *---- "Worst Update"
The app used to be good until the new update. The app is useless, redirecting to website for almost everything. Can’t see avios availability anymore.
-- P_P19, 2026-08-28

### *---- "Timeline"
Please bring back the timeline feature. Some of us need the countdown
-- Islandgirl23., 2026-08-27

### *---- "Terrible"
Who is rating this awful app 5 stars, BA must be doing their own fake reviews. It’s awful - booked a return flight to NY from London, app took my money and added the trip then everything disappeared, no confirmation email sent. Now I’m £2000 down and waiting in a massive call centre queue to get it sorted. This doesn’t happen with any other airline - regularly fly emirates, Qatar how do they manage to get it right but BA screw it up. Useless!
-- Anynamewilldo123, 2026-08-27

### ***** "Works well till you can’t check in (update)"
This works reasonably well. The issue is that regularly you cannot check in.
Initially I was worried
flight were cancelled or my seat was cancelled. My update is that if you fill out your personal information, the reason may be given. Without your information it simply says can’t check in go to the airport. Leaving you without any valid reason and worried that you’re cancelled. With your information filled out it will give for instance a message that for this (particular) flight it isn’t possible, please go to the airport.
