## Bryx Mobile Description
Bryx Mobile is a free mobile alerting and messaging app that provides enhanced communications and situational awareness for first responders.

Receiving data directly from the CAD, Bryx Mobile sends alerts to mobile devices, providing priority information about the scene along with routing and navigation tools. The app boasts industry-leading speed, content, and ease of use, and is completely free for first responders serving communities around the world.

Bryx Mobile is packed with features that empower you and your team, before and at the scene.
  • View hydrants around the job, color-coded for flow rate and condition.
  • Quickly view job information for prior calls to the same address.
  • Attach site survey data to include entry access and hazardous materials information.
  • Enhance team communication through real-time messaging and live location updates for users.
  • View the exact job location within your district and a highlighted route from your station to the scene.
  • Enable dispatching by agency or unit and view supplemental updates from CAD in real time - all without creating any extra work for dispatchers.
  • Configure internet dispatch radio streams and play them directly from Bryx Mobile. Some hardware required.
  • Bryx Mobile’s first-in-class engineering is backed by dedicated, round-the-clock support from the same engineers who built the system.

This app is only intended to be used by first responders, and your station chief must add users to the approved access list.

Note: This app may use background audio streaming. Continued use of audio streaming running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

## Bryx Mobile Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Good but"
It’s a great app but how do I get my agency to accept my request
-- Gma112, 2024-10-12

### ***-- "App crashes"
App crashes when I open it then I restart it then it’s fine it started when I last updated it
-- Sheldon Wise, 2024-07-03

### ***** "Quick access to off/on duty"
I would like to recommend a feature where users can easily go in and out of duty.

Long press on app
iOS shortcut
iOS action button.
Widget

I do it often. And going into the app is not the worst thing but seems like a nice value.
-- DigitalWalkman, 2024-06-02

### **--- "CarPlay"
The newest update removed Bryx from Apple CarPlay.
-- StewartICT, 2023-12-22

### ***** "Awesome app for FD and EMS"
Bryx has been awesome since Day 1 in our department. Seeing who is going to a job (as a volunteer department) helps us so much. Only thing we wish Bryx had was an Apple Watch app.
-- oliver.hood28, 2023-06-15

### **--- "Stopped working correctly"
It apparently doesn’t want to work with an iPhone. I receive the jobs but stopped getting alerts and notifications. No one can figure it out. Not even tech support.
-- Stevo6474, 2022-01-05

### ***-- "Missing vital features"
This app has potential but is too basic for now. Settings should be stored in iCloud so I don't have to manually alter them on a new phone or iPad. I should also be able to set the alert tone by unit rather than call type (the call types are meaningless with how our CAD interfaces). Being unable to upload an alert tone of my own is a huge drawback. You should be able to toggle critical alerts inside the app itself. These are little things but for an app that just has one real job they add up, especially the limited alert tone library.
-- firehat, 2021-10-24

### ****- "I would love to give it 5 stars."
I work for a medium sized department of 11 stations with 250 employees. We have been using a different app for the past year and we are now giving Bryx a test run. Maybe it is because of the test run, that the one feature I would love to see is missing. I have been unable to filter the calls by unit. That is ok during the day, but at night it would be nice to turn off all other units except the one you are assigned to. Other than that this is a great app. I really love the ease of use and the mapping is very clean looking.
-- Tuscfirefighter, 2020-02-05

### ***** "Compatible"
It need to be compatible with the Apple Watch
-- zach24103, 2020-01-02

### ***** "Supreme"
The app is great and the customer support can’t be beaten.
-- Cashola4, 2019-04-07
