Description
Battle Fields ist ein rundenbasiertes taktisches Kriegsspiel. Ein Spieler befehligt eine Reihe von Einheiten auf einer Karte aus Sechsecken und versucht, Missionsziele zu erreichen, die von der Verteidigung wichtiger Orte bis hin zur einfachen Zerstörung aller feindlichen Streitkräfte reichen. Beschädigte Einheiten können repariert oder durch neue Rekruten ersetzt werden, während siegreiche Staffeln ihre Fähigkeiten verbessern, sodass sie beim nächsten Mal noch schwerer zu schlagen sind.
Die Strategielogik und das benutzerinteraktive Konzept sind von der ursprünglichen Battle Isle von Blue Byte inspiriert. Die meisten Grafiken, Musik-, Karten- und Textmaterialien stammen aus Public Domain, lizenziert unter der Creative Commons License oder General Public License.
