I would love to give this app 5 stars. I love the documentation abilities, the phases icons, photos are of good quality, community is welcoming. I really just need an export option to save my journals. It’s just really uneasy to have to trust a server with all this data and no back up.
This is just another redundant invasive data collecting social media site preying on needy egos. You will find neither social satisfaction, nor the solace of a journal.
I am a commercial grower and have been using this for my own documentation and tracking. I enjoy it very much, however there seems to be issues with the account and password in the software side. I have had to reset my password multiple times as it says it’s wrong while using Face ID. In resetting the password it will never send me an email after trying numerous times. I have reached out to the developer and not gotta a response.
I receive no notifications in the app when someone replies to a comment on their post. If they reply after I make a comment, I have no way of knowing. I don’t get notified. Latest Update
I had some information I needed to get off the app but my phone broke, I get the app installed again and my account was completely wiped.
Good app. The only thing is it doesn’t have a view counter for any journals/posts so you don’t know how many people are your journal.
Overall, it’s a good app it does its job, but there’s some large limitations that should be addressed. There’s no like/dislike button nor do they have a view count which is a bit disappointing
Let us leaves likes like Instagram, it sounds corny but whatever, let us like each other’s posts and comments. let us actually be able to reply to folks and them get a notification, things like this would increase app activity I'm surprised it hasn’t been added already.
I have been using this app for almost 2 years now - I love it. The addition of the block button has made the app a million times better for me (so I don’t have to watch the same 3 people fight lol) My suggestions: - The ability to reply directly back (@) to someone who commented on your update. I feel like I am answering people and they don’t even know - A place to record PH, EC, RH, plant height, etc. with each update - A followers list - so I can see who watchin me 😂 If you actually read all the way down here you deserve a smoke break and I appreciate you. Great app!
This is my 5th year logging on this app and everything about the app has been very user friendly. I log what grow in my garden each summer so I could reference what I did. Benefiting my garden more and more each year. Sharing your log with people who don’t have the app is very useful as it’s fun to share and hear opinions. The developer of the app is hands on within the community of growers looking for ways to better the app which I appreciate. The online community of this app is also very helpful. You do have the option to keep your logs private for those who are paranoid. I have 3 stars because even tho I really like this app I believe it could be better. Maybe video posting options, a member to member rating feature determining how helpful and knowledgeable they are. Special Thanks to the developer!
