Full of things the Buddha never said, and displays ads, which you can remove by paying money - all of which makes this app a very non-Buddhist undertaking. Whoever created this thing understands and applies none of the most basic principles of Buddhism. This - people passing off misguided nonsense as "Buddhist" - is the essence of how the Dhamma dies out in the world, ushering in the great periods of darkness between the arisings of the Buddhas. I can think of nothing sadder.
Love this app. The quotes are lovely and it’s a great quick pick up when I need a reminder away from the cushion.
Insightful and kindly true app. A must have.
Some of these quotes are not from Buddha. I read one today that was speaking favorably about being ambitious. Buddha highlights the joys of non-ambition. Had to delete. There are other enlightened people out there but this app just seems to pick any brainy-zen SOUNDING quotes. It’s dangerous for those on the spiritual journey to read quotes from random people who never actually attainted to enlightenment.
Great app
I loved it in the first few days so I paid for a subscription. Then after a few more days, I noticed that the quotes began to recycle. I’m so disappointed that the quotes are so incredibly limited!
1. A way to get daily timed notifications for a quote 2. There are so many quotes, categories and more content being added would be fresh 3.music and background would be fresh as well It’s ok , but more boring that others for the reasons above. Right now out of 4 apps like this I would delete this one first, but it has potential.. One way to make it A cut above the others would be a way for the user to add their own quotes or in some other way customize the experience.
Great for food people who needed a good motivation.
I like this app because it’s just pictures and words to see and then ponder on. I have found some wisdom from ones that I’ve read.
