Little too chatty
Nice app but a little too chatty for a guided meditation (personal preference). Need time to actually meditate in between guides but instead feel distracted by the guided voice which is active for about 90% of the meditation time.

Becoming a Member is optional and gives you access to three amazing features: Together, Formal and the karaoke-style Transmission. Buddhify Membership is an annual subscription and payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

I have used many meditation apps but like this one best because it offers a variety of guided meditations to use in different situations or for different purposes. They vary in the amount of time required so the app is very flexible. I also like the stats which encourage you to practice regularly. Plus I can add meditation that I do outside of the app and track that too. I highly recommend whether you are a beginner or an experienced meditator. *****

App keeps updating, can’t use it
Every time I open the app it starts updating and downloading. Can’t just open it and use it right away. So frustrating.
Enjoying it so far, but why do I get an error message sometimes?
Love that the app is so comprehensive and practical! Only problem I’ve encountered is that it downloads updates every time I open it, and takes a really long time doing so. A couple of times it also gives an error message and doesn’t complete the “downloading media” part. This is quite frustrating, which is obviously in direct contrast with what one expects from a meditation app.

This is one of my absolute favorite apps of all time! I’ve learned techniques and skills for meditation that have genuinely improved my wellbeing. It’s really well designed, practical, and just a genuinely good tool.
It was great until it was not.
Everyone is moving to a subscription model now. Feels like a total grift. I appreciated Buddhify’s one time purchase model. I’ve had it for about 5 years now. I don’t need updates or new material, I just need it to work, but now they’ve taken away some of the previously available content. It just doesn’t play at all.
