Buddy offers a $9.99 monthly renewing and a $49.99 yearly renewing subscription to unlock Premium functionality.
The purchase will be charged from your iTunes account if you choose to buy the Buddy Premium subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the user settings in iTunes after the purchase. The subscription period ends with the same kind of subscription you already bought to the same price unless you turn off your subscription 24 hours before it renews. It is not possible to cancel your current subscription during the time your subscription is active.
Bought the premium version and was hoping for a Mint clone but this seems far more complicated than necessary. Good app but so much could be improved by simplifying it down. I don’t understand the need for multiple budgets + wallets? And also the overview seems to be the same as the budgets just re-hashed. I don’t see the purpose. Also really wish reoccurring purchases would learn to categorize themselves instead of having to manually change the category every time. Overall I find it confusing to use and would willingly pay any money for this to be a simple app like Mint was. But it does do the job you need it to.
Stupid
Why would you pay $60 a year for an app to save money😭 so stupid, just deleted it
Doesn’t support RBC
Couldn’t even use the app as it doesn’t support RBC
Doesn’t connect to bank
Every time I try and connect my bank it just says try again later…I even paid for premium
Worst app
I synced with all the banks but everyone I log it, it asks me to resign into my bank account and it never syncs all my transactions. It misses most of them. Definitely do not recommend. I emailed them to get a refund because I do not think it’s doing the job but they did not allow me.
Amazing App and customer support
Super easy to use, fast, and the support is amazing. I tried every other app since Mint shut down and this is the best one by far!
meh
i liked this app at first and bought the premium plan but it wasn't a good idea. the app is really great but it's really complicated to understand at first what is going on and how everything works. also, when you connect you bank, if you already have done your budget, it will not recognize you expenses and what category they are and it's really annoying to put them in order afterwards. i also think that the premium plan isn't worth it, it doesn't have a lot of features that are worth it and it's kinda weird to have to pay to manage my finances myself.
This app f'ing sucks
Honestly I hate this app so much.
Doesn’t connect to RBC
If you’re with RBC which a lot of Canadians are, it doesn’t connect to your account. I’ve tried every way and it doesn’t work.
Great app but…
I’ve been looking for a good budgeting app ever since mint got shut down and I thought I found a great one with buddy but it’s doesn’t support any of the popular banks in Canada like Neo or Wealthsimple so can’t get the full picture of my finances.
