This app is great I have been searching for a budgeting app that lets me budget per check and this is it. The one think I would love to see is a calendar where we can see the whole month and when certain things are due and expecting paychecks! I know this might be way in the future but a estimated paycheck feature would be great where you can enter your hours worked and it will estimate how much your going to make! Overall this app has a lot of potential and I can’t wait to see what it done to it in the future😊
I like it!
This app is much more visually straightforward and pleasing to the eye than its competitors, which makes it perfect for those with simple budgets. Very user friendly for those new adults in college/leaving college.
While you have to manually log your transactions (as opposed to it connecting to your bank), I think this adds a level of accountability to the purchases you make. Competitor apps always do a poor job of categorizing transactions, anyways! You cannot physically "hold" money in the app, but the reminders to log and stuff envelopes put it a step above doing this process with pen and paper.
In short, working with budget bestie requires more discipline and I think that's a good thing. Developing those skills takes time, however, it's up to you whether you're ready to pay for an app that can't ""prevent"" you from being financially irresponsible.(by holding your money or working with your bank). It's still on you to work WITH the app and follow your budget.
Few bugs here and there, nothing crazy or app breaking, just be patient.

With the new update, I am trying to do my new budget and I can’t type a zero. Really frustrating. Also I can’t edit the income amount I entered.
Love but….
I love the app but when I put in an expense I have to close the app and reopen it for it to show. I wish there was a way we could refresh the app instead of having to close it out and reopen it.
Amazing App, but……….
This is an amazing app, by far the best one I’ve used for budgetting.
However…. I think it’s a little silly that you have to have an “empty envelope” in order to delete them. For example, I made a mistake making a transaction in the app and added way more than what needed to be in there (like a 1 million dollar oopsie), and it says it needs to be empty for me to delete it. I can’t even edit the total amount to make a correction. Why can’t we have control over that? I get that it’s probably a way to avoid accidentally deleting a needed envelope, but if we need to delete one to make a correction or have better ways to edit the envelopes for situations like I described.
Otherwise, this is an AMAZING app and I don’t want to take away from that.
I wanted to like this
I was excited to try this out and was happy to see there was a 3-day free trial. However, shortly after getting started, the app was freezing regularly and would often close unexpectedly.
Hard to use
The app is hard to use, I do not like that you can’t back date anything. I started using this app today and can’t back date anything to the 1st of the month so I can get an accurate calculation of what the month looks like. It’s just a pain. The lay out is nice though 🤷🏻♀️

As a waitress, this app is exactly what I needed. Yes, it costs money but it’s a very responsible cost considering how useful it is. The $5/month is an investment for yourself. This app will help you understand cash stuffing and will help you budget your way to your goals! I really appreciate the time and effort the developers put into this app to help others with budgeting! Thank you!

Not a free app. They ask for money the moment you download. I hate when apps try to hide this. Put this app in the cost money section not the free section.

I like the concept of the app and want it to give another chance however it continues crashing when trying to input my current cash amount ☹️disappointed. Please get it fix.
