Rien à dire. Fonctionnel, bien conçu
I connected to all banks in Canada and they all said they couldn't connect. It seems like the app only promotes American banks.
It’s an excellent app but suddenly stopped working and I’m no able to access to all my data. I’ve been tracking all my expenses during the year and now it’s all gone. The app just doesn’t open. The screen remains black.
It’s been great using spendee. However I’ve been trying to enter the app for over two days already and the app tries to load for a second and then closes. Please help!!
Just recently started using it and it’s working great!
Useless app for most Canadian banks. Every one of these apps are only made for Americans I don’t know why they even advertise in Canada. They don’t even have top 5 big banks of Canada but they have all the almost bankrupt American trash banks. Very glitchy app as well. Canadians shouldn’t waste any money on this trash app.
I used this app for under 1 month. I was really hopeful it would help me track my spending against my budget so I could make better spending decisions throughout the month, but sadly it didn’t function at all basic level. Note: I live in Canada and use EQ Bank for my chequing acct and TD Bank for my Visa. EQ is currently not offered in the list of banks that you can connect the app to. TD is. Problem #1: The app does not automatically download the TD transactions, so you need to go into the app to manually refresh the connection and download them. This is a bit annoying. (EQ is even worse. EQ transactions need to be manually entered. You cannot connect your EQ accts to this app at all) Problem #2: there were duplicate transactions showing up in my transaction history, which then totally threw off the reporting on how much I’d spent that month. This is a basic issue that shouldn’t be happening in a budgeting app. I tried logging in/out, deleted and redownloading the app. Nothing worked. Problem #3: you can’t apply money that’s come into your account to a specific expense category, therefore messing up what you actually spent in that category that month. E.g. my friend e-transferred me money to pay me back for an uber we shared. I wasn’t able to apply that money he sent me to the original amount I spent on the uber, therefore the app thought I spent $40 on the uber, when really I spent $20. Problem #4: you can edit the order that your budgets are listed in, on the budget screen. They’re just listed in the order in which you added them. So then you have to scroll down to see your most important budgets. There are several other tiny UX issues that end up making this app frustrating to use. I wish it had worked better :(
This app needs widgets, they’re really great to know at a glance how your budgets are looking, reminds you to not overspend. Otherwise, the only app I found that works perfectly without linking banks, other apps had big popup to link banks forever, or had a bad flow to manually adding transactions, or were too expensive. This one has only good features, and offers a cheaper plan for people who don’t want to sync their bank accounts.
CIBC bank sync hardly works. Have disconnected and reconnected several times and it still misses transactions on cards. It’s also quite frustrating that your credit card balance, money you owe, shows as positive balance in your account. This completely throws off your balance.
The app doesn’t support Neo bank and BMO in Canada. When you have a loan account, the value is displayed as a positive value in your asset value, instead of negative. I reported this on May/2024, right now is Jan/2025…
