I love this app for sleeping at night. However recently it has been glitching so I can’t open it at all. I don’t want to have to pay for it a second time.

The initial screen to set up notifications isn't set up for the lower resolution of iphine SE so the confirmation buttons are off screen. This completely prevents use of the app. I gave previous versions of this app 5 stars for its content and usability. 
These new version 9 revisions changed up the interface but not for the better. For example I used to be able to set up instructions to skip since I've been using these apps for years. Now I can't figure out how to skip them.
If they fix the issue I mentioned in the beginning then I'll bump my rating to 4 stars.

I honestly think this one has been the best out of 6 I have tried. It was the last in the package I bought but the results after using this one have been the fastest. Set it to 1) skip into 2) long induction 3) sleep not wake 4) repeat twice. I'm a skeptic and would not advise you to pay a dime if it didn't work. I do wish that they would lower the price so more people could try it. But you do get what you pay for & Johnsons Aps pay for themselves every time

I would give Mr Andrew Johnson another half a star for a total of 4.5 stars if possible.  He ranks higher because of his strong,easy to understand voice.  The strength in his voice makes it easier to fall into trance and therefore, easier for my subconscious to follow his commands.  
My other favorite hypnotherapist is Joseph Clough. He's easy to understand as well. Also the speech given with his sessions are very well thought out and thorough.
Both of these therapists' sessions are great deals as well. Thank You.

The app quit working after the recent update. Loads ok but is frozen and unresponsive after the 'Begin' button appears. I'm using an iPhone 4.

A. Johnson's apps are all amazing. I'm not a fan of some of the music the apps play, but his voice and what he says are much more important. 

Some ppl are complaining on here that the app doesn't allow them to sleep. While A. Johnson's apps are meant to relax and focus, keep in mind that this is an app meant to hypnotize you, not simply put you to sleep. This particular app is meant to help you build confidence, not just shut down at the end of a stressful day. Johnson does guide you into sleep at the end of his recordings, if you choose that option, however your mind is supposed to hear what he is saying, at least semi-consciously. If it wakes you up a little, that might be part of the program.

I enjoy all the apps I have of Andrew Johnson.  I would just like to put in my two cents on this one, too.  The volume is louder in the second portion, and it's a pain if I'm almost asleep because it wakes me up and I lose the relaxation.  In addition, the pace of the second portion is soooo much faster.  The slow soothing tone of the first part is lost on me when the second portion kicks in.  It's too stimulating for my taste to use at bedtime.  It hasn't failed to wake me yet each time I've tried it.  It seems almost out of place after such a relaxing start.  Sorry to complain.  It's just disappointing to be awakened or brought out so abruptly.  Please consider re-recording at same volume (this and the other apps affected) and maybe give this one another listen in a user's context????  Thanks for listening.  Having said that, I do still enjoy this app and the others!  Still recommended!
