Make sure you pay attention to what condition the pallet or case is listed under when going through the listings. When I was a noob I purchased a pallet of clothing and other items thinking they were uninspected returns. Turned out I wasn’t paying attention and ended up being a salvage pallet! Even then I ended up tripling my money! 👍🏻🤟🏻💪🏻❤️ Listen, mistakes are inevitable. So, yes there’s can be an error in the manifest like the wrong price or whatever. But for the most part everything is on point! 👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I resell for a living and finding BULQ has been a game changer! Not only did it help my business! Whenever I’m in the market for something I check bulq first! I purchased my brand new amazing $2000 sectional for $400. My daughters car seat and stroller were free after selling the rest of the pallet they came in! Got my $3000 hybrid mattress and base for around $500 ans more! So if you’re nervous that this is a scam. It’s not! They are legit! I’ve been using the BULQ app for over a year with no issues. Until last week or so it started getting really buggy. Freezing and delays daily. I have to delete and reinstall it every single day! Once it’s reinstalls it works great for a while but by the end of the day(late night) the delays and freezing start up again. It’s super annoying! Please help! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Also, some suggestions/request! 1.) A more accurate search engine would be awesome! I’ll search for sectionals or down comforters and only some of the listings show up. It’s frustrating sometimes. I end up spending HOURS going through every single listing trying to find certain items. Literally an entire day if there’s a lot of lots to go though. Subcategories and brand name filter options would be really helpful, as well! 2.) I know this is never going to happen but I’d love it if I could save certain searches(stuff I’m in the market for) and then get a notification if that item ends up being listed! (Similar to mercari) I’m still going to give 5 stars(even with the recent bugs)! -- rooneybloom, 2022-03-22 ### ***** "Favorite Liquidator!" Firstly, the app is really refreshing! Easy to use, filter what you’re looking for in multiple ways. It also adds in the shipping costs when you click on a pallet so you can easily see your unit cost per item prior to purchase. If you source multiple pallets from the same warehouse, you’ll save even more on shipping. Very clear on pricing - no hidden fees hitting you later. I also like that you can straight buy and not have to do bid on auctions, etc. I starting using them in early Nov 2021 and have so far purchased around 20 pallets (from clothes to electronics, new and uninspected returns). Manifests are very accurate. I’ve only had one item missing so far in all that I’ve ordered (I order huge pallets). But, that can be the liquidation game sometimes. Make sure you go in with the right expectations and you won’t be disappointed! I’m sure if I had contacted them on the one missing item, they would have done whatever to make it right. I didn’t because, again, that’s liquidation sometimes and other companies don’t even compare to Bulq (with the exception of Market Street). I really hope they keep the company policies and app up as I’ll be a customer for life. If you do use the app and agree about the ease of it, be sure to send them an App Feedback through the app and let them know! But most of the time I’m satisfied with my purchase .. -- mamamarcy, 2021-05-07 ### *---- "Nearly $100,000 Spent Sourcing Through BULQ, Here Is Why We Stopped - An In Depth Review" When we had first heard about BULQ, we thought it might be a great opportunity to source products for our business. Below is an in-depth review of the issues and misrepresentations we’ve encountered since we started sourcing through BULQ. 1. Retail Estimates Are Not As Advertised - The Retail Prices shown for items, cases, and pallets are not always as advertised, and in some instances as we’ve seen, blatantly marked out of proportion in order to encourage buyers to order the lot. We’ve noticed an iPhone 8 marked for $1400, Wired EarBuds marked as $999, and more price markups that don’t match their actual current retail value. 2. Claims - Across 47 Orders since 2019, we’ve needed to file a claim for 43 of those orders. A large amount of those claims had to do with the “most expensive” item in the lot. We had a circumstance where a Case was advertised to include a $2400 brand new 2020 MacBook Pro among other items. We found this to be a great deal considering the cost of the lot was slightly below that price. Instead, we received a used 2010 MacBook Pro with a faulty screen with an estimated resale value of about $100. Their refund calculations are based upon “an internal system” that calculate their wholesale value. The retail value listed for an item will not be an indicator as to how much you’ll receive as a refund for your claim. 3. Jewelry - From our experiences with BULQ, all jewelry comes unmarked, unbranded, and with no tags or signs of authenticity. We only specialize in electronics, so for jewelry items included in the lots we have bought, we found it applicable to take it to our local pawn shop. For an item marked as a $450 retail value, we were told that the jewelry was “costume jewelry” and virtually worthless. 4. “Price Drops” - We’ve noticed a new tactic that BULQ has employed which is greatly misrepresenting their “price drops”. You’ll see a lot that is listed as a 30% price drop with a price of $4000, and a retail value of $4500. That would mean the original price is above the retail price. Apparently this tactic is used so that buyers believe they’re getting a great deal because the price has “dropped” by 30%. 5. Overall Fundamental Values - Given all of the deceptive practices and misrepresentation from BULQ, it is disheartening that a company would look to “prey” on small businesses as a source of income.
