Bumble For Friends: Meet IRL

Used bumble to try and make friends because I’ve struggled to make friends and they’ve blocked me with no reason. Even after asking them to give a reason, they won’t provide further details. Absolutely shocking!

wanted to download the app and potentially make some friends but i’m just permanently stuck on the fugly loading screen after signing up with my number

Bumble, can you pls not control the influx of these men with fake identities and swiping on women looking just for female friends??? Men already have bumble dating for that, why let them have bff as well?????

BFF demonstrated a total inability to deal with a male predator. After reporting the issue I was repeatedly told that I had to provide extra details about the perpetrator’s profile (it had been recommended to me by the algorithm) but I had no way to access the profile retrospectively.

Terrible searches for local areas only found 2 people where I live using this and the rest are miles out

might be controversial but i really wish you could filter the ppl available to you by race. as a black woman i’m already a minority in my country so i would love to be able to meet more ppl like myself & build a community. i also don’t like the fact that the age gap is 4 years. i don’t want to meet ppl younger than me or 4 years older, men or women. so if the filter options could be more specific that would be really nice

Start of by saying thoroughly loving the Plans feature, keep that as it is. I get it’s a new app, but frustrated with how I can really only swipe five/ten profiles and then you can’t few anymore for hours, and it’s a real struggle to find and even go through the profiles that have expressed an interest. Got to pay so much money just to try and find a friend, or have a chat, even after matching and being timed out, feels wrong. Get rid of the time limit after matching. That is a must.

banned when my account followed all the rules and i had paid for a week of premium to try it out, i only had a few matches and conversations and all were going nicely, my bio was really simple with nothing inappropriate, truly only on there to make friends in my city so no flirting or anything, and only two photos on my account one of which was my dog?? all i can think is that since i had it set to women and men, a man has reported me because i rejected his match or something :// kind of gross that bumblebff allows abuse of that feature with no appeal process, and now the couple of potential friends i made will think i ghosted them if i can ever get a new account i'll only have it set to women, shame a minority have to ruin it for others

This app for years now has been glitchy. When you open chats to first send a message it constantly freezes and I have to close the whole app to restart it - trick I’ve found around this is when you go on to a chat with someone open the camera icon (as if you was going to send a pic but don’t) and then type your message. This normally works.
