UPDATE: I actually managed to sign up as private. I would improve the registration process a little bit, but to be fair, once you get into the happy path, it goes reasonably smoothly.

As for how useful Banq is outside the Netherlands, I’ll have to use it a bit longer and see.

I thought I have found THE new app. They advertise with use local currencies. Well, only if you live in 5 countries. As one from Denmark that uses DKK this is not available. Only for those living in EUR countries and have no use of DKK. 
Almost regrets opening an account but atleast they give 30 days trial so you in that period can use the virtual cards for free.

It is not clear how the card-only membership works. I don’t know how to top it up and if it is topped up by a transfer or an online payment. I asked the customer support and they also did not know at the beginning. I needed to explain how it works and then received a reply. Also, the chat was in English and I received the last reply in Dutch. Not sure it is anything good. And I still don’t know how it works. I asked to have my account deleted and still have not heard back from them. I would have loved the system, was it better explained and the communication with the company was better. 1 star is for the communication with the common. Still wish all the best and hope that the company will grow and serve many people across the world.
