Rarely leave reviews but fell compelled to save others time and energy. Submitted a claim online via the Bupa website. Got a quick reply, asking me and my GP to fill out a form. The original request said I may not need a GP referral (which I don’t currently have). After a 5-10 minute online live chat via hula’s website, the person said I need to get a GP referral (which contradicts the original note and what it directly says on the email). They then said I can use this app. I try it assuming it will be quicker than getting an appointment with my regular GP. Fill out the forms, it asks me to validate my ID. Reluctantly (due to data security and third party systems that may sell my data) I upload my driving license. Once done, I get a message saying we can no longer book appointments through the app. “ No access to appointments You can no longer use Bupa Blua Health app to access digital GP. Bupa Touch is now the place to book your digital CP appointments. Download the Bupa app to speak with a doctor.” What a waste of time!

My account won’t work since moving over to this app - I sign in and then I’m basically there’s a problem setting up the profile, try again, and to contact support if it persists. It does. There’s nowhere on their support page to contact technical support!

This is the first I have used the Bupa app because of back pain. I am flabbergasted how easy it was and how I got an appointment within 2 minutes. It was so straight forward I have been ringing all my friends to tell them to sign up. I now have physio booked in later this week, pain killers and peace of mind that I didn’t have to beg my own doctor’s surgery for an appointment. Bupa’s service is very impressive so far! I am a very happy customer. A*+

What’s the point of this app when you can’t even book appointments on it, yet it’s part of the benefits package. I can see numerous people already told you that there is a bug so why not fix it? Absolutely shocking.

Each time I book an appointment, I have to prove my identity by scanning documents and taking a selfie. It’s very difficult getting past this stage, as I struggle to keep the camera still with shaking hands. It’s a ridiculous requirement to have to prove my identity each time, and a massive accessibility barrier.

When trying to login for first time and verify my ID, the Camera does not focus (iPhone 15 pro). Have to manually judge distance from ID to get in focus. Several attempts to verify ID have failed and I can’t login.

Won’t log in via Face ID - requires a long password which I need to enter every time I use it. The video conf system didn’t work.

I tried to book an appointment twice within the past week and there is a bug in the app. I go to book appointment -> for me -> then it asks “What can we help with?” And there is nothing else on the screen. There are no options I can click on, no drop down, no text entry option. I’m simply stuck on that screen unable to progress with booking

Feeling unwell on a Sunday I was told by a Bupa call centre associate to download this app to book a digital appointment with a healthcare professional. When going to the book appointments screen and selecting myself from the options, I am taken to a screen asking “what can we help with?” but not showing any options to book an appointment. This app is completely useless for this purpose and as a healthcare app it is unacceptable not to be able to book an appointment when you are feeling ill. The developer really needs to look at this as it puts at risk members of BUPA, who cannot access call Center during the weekend.

Fill out details cannot make progress. The app is poor and I have spent an hour resetting the password s. An app needs to flow - the intro email was rubbish. The virtual assistant is worse than useless. Total rubbish experience. Badly written
