Please stop the constant screen refreshing. I’m typing my sentences, I answer my phone, and when I return to Busuu my sentences have disappeared because of the annoying Busuu screen refreshing. The constant refreshing throughout the day only wastes time as we wait for it to finish. To avoid losing my draft sentences, I type my sentences in another app then copy and paste them into Busuu.
I like that I was tested to begin at my level, rather than having to start and work my way up. I love the little videos and the native speaker listening exercises. Thank you for supplementing my language learning perfectly. I have been using it for a year and just purchased a membership. It is nice not having ads.
I enjoy the lessons. It’s an easy site to learn and it has good tools. You can do many languages! I love it and recommend it!
The best tool to learn a new language! This Japanese is thing is going so smooth because of Busuu!!
Super helpful, variety of listening, speaking, writing. Help from fluent speakers and it forces you to compile sentences from what you’ve learned. Honestly it’s worth the money.
I started learning Korean a few months ago, and I’ve been through so many apps like Duolingo, TEUIDA, Drops, and more. None of those apps truly helped me understand what each word meant, and most importantly, how to write/read Hangeul. I’ve had Busuu for less than a week and it’s teaching me a month’s worth of lessons in Duolingo.
I am progressing in the free portion to see if I want to do the paid lessons. One disturbing thing is some portions are entirely in Romanization. And virtually all lessons have Romanization accompanying them. There should be an option for 한글 only. This is a course with the goal to speak and read 한글. Please give us a chance to do that. English speaking eyes are naturally drawn to their own alphabet. Give an option for 한국 only! I am halfway through the free course now and continue to be limited and irritated by the Romanization. You could complete this and barely know the Korean alphabet. The English pronunciation is virtually always there. Why? Why not an option to use all 한국?
This app is one of the best language learning apps out there. I love how it quizzes on understanding and pronunciation. The whole thing where natives can help you out is fantastic! 10/10
I think this way of learning, compared to something like Duolingo, is better in terms off how it helps you memorize information. I think the immersion of this program, along with the speaking and writing exercises, help a lot. Disclaimer though: my level of the language I'm currently learning -- French -- was pretty high already when I started using Busuu.
