Switched from Duolingo, no regrets.
Awesome app! Teaches the essential things. Great for language learning!
Uygulama güzel fakat 30 saniyede bir reklam vermesi ve zorla premium a geç demesi uygulamadan soğutup telefondan silmeye sebep oluyor.
I have told this to all of my friends, who have been interested in learning languages. Having been a Duolingo warrior myself (streak of ~430), I can tell the difference between the 2. I noticed it immediately after trying out Busuu. Duolingo is good for vocabulary I guess, but it mixes different dialects into the same language (Spanish for me). E.g Duolingo taught me that car = carro, but there is another variation in Spain’s Spanish that is “coche”. Busuu clearly brings out the differences with certain words and has a better system for language learning overall. I actually LEARNT Spanish with Busuu. But I have to say that the free version is better on Duolingo. While both are useful, Busuu has a better system for learning in place. With Duolingo I felt like I just learnt some random words and things, but with Busuu it was a better and more logical path of learning a language and understanding it. Instead of learning how to say “A bear drinks juice”, I learned how to spark a conversation with people and much much more.
Мне очень нравиться, хорошо подобран материал и метод изучения языка
It's pretty solid most of the time but the listening parts get difficult once the sentences get longer. Not because the actual text gets difficult but the text-to-speech or whatever that's in use gets very monotonous and hard to follow, compared to natural speech. This is especially true if there are dates and/or big numbers in the sentences.
I use both Duo and Busuu but i like the structure and review module in Busuu more. Use Busuu if you want to see you progress!
wish i could do lessons without watching videos first but they arent too long so its okay
Please make the font size change function, too small in japanese.
